colony. -- county. back to you. meanwhile, here in columbia a road repair project caused headaches today for several motorists. that's because state transportation crews had to shut down to lanes of i 77 to make emergency repairs. after the pavement began to crumble. the affected area is 150 foot stretch of the northbound lanes near shop road. 65,000 vehicles travel that section each and every day. there's no official word tonight on what caused the pavement to crumble. we have high clouds off to the west that are starting to come into the picture. partly cloudy skies at the moment and starting to cool off. temperatures at 56 degrees, winds are in the east. tonight, we expect to see in increasing clouds with a low 43 degrees.

she is being held in jail without bond. orangeburg county, animal control officers have seized nearly 2 dozen sick horses. the director says his agency did not find the horses they actually responded to a call from a woman who owned the animals she told them she couldn't take care of them anymore. all of the horses were underweight and all have medical issues. out of the 22 horses surrendered to were put down, 15 other have been taking two rescue shelters. the other veorangeburg animal control, but they too will eventually be rescued out. staying in orangeburg, the department of public safety is getting 80 body cameras orangeburg city council approved the purchase of the cameras at a cost of a little more than $103,000. we are told they will be used by patrols special operations and investigation units. the order has been placed for
