something good for them. i am going to try to make sure they are happy, but them know it will be alright. it's just going to be magical. >> is a blessing that someone thought of us. >>reporter:in columbia, chuck ringwald, news 19 wltx. >> the elite youth group of south carolina has been mentoring kids across the state since 2001. richland county deputies are searching for the person who robbed a video store last night at gunpoint. it happened at the video express on two notch road around 11 p.m. when an employee could not open the safe, deputies say the suspect shot the victim in the lower body. the employee was able to retrieve a gun and that is when the suspect fled. if you have any information related to this case call crime stoppers at 888-crime-sc the search continues this morning for a sumter mother who has not been seen since friday night. she is 27-year-old davis. police and they responded to her home at writs of mobile

incarcerated -- car seats at the time of the crash. also out of orangeburg county, fled is in -- investigating an officer involved shooting. posterior club on old number six highly -- highway insanity. investigators say someone shot at a deputy who was responding to a disturbance at that nightclub. the deputy who fired back was not her. they are not sure if the deputy hit anyone as the car sped away from the scene. this is the first officer involved shooting this year, last year there were 48 officer involved incidents in the state. lets meet our mom of the day, she is jamika gibson. she is a mother of one i was nominated by her mother, sharon noble, she tells us her daughter is a very kindhearted young woman. she goes above and beyond for her son christian, there is not a day that goes by that she does not tell her how much she loves her and how proud she is
