3 in richland county...more details are expected to be released today on the killing of 19-year old deanndra roach. over the weekend..deputies arrested her ex boyfriend... 22-year-old... andre heatley jr..he been charged with her murder and armed robbery. deputies say roach's body was found in the middle of farrow road around 5 o clock friday... by a man who was walking his dog.they say she was shot multiple times. investigators say heatley was captured on camera ... using her debit card at 3 separate locations... just moments after the crime. heatley is

3 in columbia... police continue to search for a man they say sexually assaulted a girl on usc's campus over the weekend.it happened around 3:30 saturday morning on the 800 block of barnwell street. the victim told police... an armed man forced her to go with him to the corner of barnwell where he sexually assaulted her. the victim believes she saw the suspect in the hallway area of an apartment complex... and briefly talked with him.anyone with information that can help in this case is asked to call crimestoppers at 1-triple 8- crime-sc. 3 3 3

3 the richland county library kicked off black history month with a celebration.they recognzed the richness of african-american culture... with music, storytelling and food ... at thier black history month fair yesterday. we spoke with one mom about the importance of bringing her children to events like this. 3 just exposure, it's all about exposure. me and my husband are really big on exposure. not just african american but anything as far as kayaking, skiing, you know different parts of the country. it's all just really about exposure.the event was free and open to anyone in the community.
