the louvre off fire department is getting more resources to help them perform swift water rescues including a new vehicle that will help them access hard to reach places. this is video from columbia of a swift water rescue training. ten additional luba firefighters are set to get this additional training after the teen dealt with october flooding. at the time, the only had six people trained who worked close to 36 hours straight doing rescue operations. the city of columbia is looking to help small businesses affected by the flood. the office of business opportunities is launching the small business disaster recovery loan program. in order to qualify, the business has to be an columbia. be in business for at least two years and suffered losses due to the flood that were not covered by insurance. borrowers are eligible for loans of $12,000 that can be used for several purposes.
