not public funds. washington failed to file tax runs -- returns. the new hampshire presidential primes are history and now the candidates are focusing on south carolina nevada. -- south carolina pnevada. donald trump and bernie sanders are facing new attacks from opponent and different voters. cbs reports from new hampshire. >> reporter: new jersey governor chris christie and former ceo of hewlett-packard carly fiorina have suspected their presidential campaigns. cbs newsed governor chris christie came to his decision after talking to donors. donald trump says his victory in the new hampshire primary will not be his last. on cbs this morning donald trump said his campaign is shaking up politics as usual.

governor chris christie invested resources into new hampshire and he finished with 7% of the vote. you will hear from several of the candidates coming up later on on friends @ five today. and now that all eyes are right here on the state, several of the candidates will be in the state. we have a list on where they are on www.wltx.com. students at airport high school were dismissed early because of a fire. firefighters say it started in a hvac unit on the building in the back. the superintendent says students were never able to see flames from the ground. just a lot of smoke. the students were taken next door where they wait tad be take -- waited to be taken home. a student said everyone thought the alarm was for practice. >> thinking it is just a drill. left all my stuff and everything and then we saw

see smoke near the rock preserve in lexington do not be alarmed. a control burn will start around 11:00 a.m. tomorrow with the fire expected to reach the peak in the afternoon hours. 330 acres will be burned. organizations will be completing the burn to benefit wildlife in the forest. 12-15 firefighters will be guiding the blaze so don't be alarmed. and we have a boil water advisory for some folks in columbia tonight. you need to know about, this advisory has been issued for the st. andrews road area. the area covers st. andrews roads from lawrence street to broad river, business, restaurants and the apartment complex as well. there will be traffic delays for the eastbound lane of st. andrews as they work to fix the problem. customers in the area don't

a cold front coming through the area friday night and on saturday it will be windy, sunny, 47 degrees. it will be cold on sunday. sunny with a low of 21 and a high of 40 degrees. clouds increasing sunday night into monday and monday we will see showers coming how it the area with a high temperature of 47. now another look at the traffic around the area this afternoon and on the over view things are still in good shape but we have accidents to talk about. a new one that just occurred on two notch road at polo road. it does not seem to be impacting the traffic that much. they are in good shapes however we have a slow down right here on i-77 from just about, well, right now from 277 to the killion road exit. we have an accident on the westbound lanes of i-20.

also we are seeing a slow down right now through the malfunction junction area and highway 1, improved a little bit, you just saw the color change there. so it is somewhat improving. but if you are going from downtown a harvardson boulevard it will take you 12 minutes. lexington highway, it will take 29 minutes. the south carolina department of transportation held training exercises in columbia. employees were simulating traffic management by practicing removing wrecked vehicles. the trainees are part of the emergency program. it is the first time the group received this type of training. >> if you look at the nationwide statistics for every one minute the lane is blocked it takes four minutes to recover.

[ indiscernible ] >> the company will finish up their residency that high school on friday. a big donation was delivered today the ronald mcdonalds house. they dropped off food, money and supplies this morning. the donation ais part of the food check -- is part of the food check out week, it was created in the 1990s. they provide a home away from home for families with a child that has been hospitalized. the house has 8 rooms rooms and provides meals to families each evening. >> all the food that we feed these families is donated through our community partners.

make meals at night. we have a church that comes and provides dinner. this is the 16th year. we have a lot of sorpts come in. the -- sororities come in. the volleyball team. >> construction is underway on a bigger, better ronald mcdonald house in columbia that will double their capacity to 16 rooms. it opens june 16. thanks to last night's gala thousands of dollars will be going to getting cancer survivors the help they need. thousands came out last night. i was the emcee again this year. the high school jazz band played as cancer survivors enjoyed a dinner. the cancer society provides
