3 3 students at airport high schol are set to go back to class this morning after a fire broke out in one of the buildings yesterday. firefighters say the fire started in an h-vac unit on top of the vocational building in the back.the students were taken next door to fulmar middle while they waited to be picked up or taken home.one parent who had just picked her daughter up says she was told about the situation early and was happy with the response. lexington two superintendent dr. bill james thanked his staff for their organized evacuation. 3 vicki johnson: "they really have things under control. in the midst of mayhem, they're usually pretty good at getting the kids to safety so i feel like my kids are safe here."dr. bill james: ""our folks did an exceptional job with the training that they

"you know you just have to have one of the five photo id's ready and we'll get you in and out in no time."but you can only vote absentee if you have a valid excuse. according to the sc votes website...there are 16 excuses...including people in the armed forces currently serving overseas, a person who is physically disabled or over the age of 65....and students attending school outside of their county of residence...like usc junior stan smith. "i'm two and a half hours away from home so it's better if i just do absentee, than just drive all the way back home."smith and thousands of his fellow gamecocks are first time voters...and they admit that deciding on the best candidate can be a bit much.
