carolina republican primary. wet and an intense day it has been here for the candidates in south carolina. many are trying to -- trying to get one big final push. cnn hosted a town hall for three of the candidates. donald trump, jeb bush, and john kasich talked with anderson cooper. that evening literally just finished up a couple of minutes ago. we will take a closer look at what the candidates had to say and what your questions were here in the midlands. marco rubio is pushing for a strong finish in south carolina. the governor joined him on the campaign trail in greenville today. the florida senator talked about fighting terrorism and keeping guantanamo bay open. >> it means the best intelligence agencies in the world will find the terrorists.

tonight skies continue to be clear across the area. they have been across the southeast. high pressure has been in control and has been bringing cool air into our area. we have seen a lot of warm air surging north. notice the storm system moving into the dakotas. not much grain with a right now but it will be quite a storm system once it moves into the great lakes region. look at the high temperatures. it was cool up in new york. it was 37 degrees for a high. and got up to 78 oklahoma city. rapid city, south dakota got up to 71 degrees. it is the warm air that we will be seen for the weekend. our temperature is 38 degrees in columbia. it is 36 on raquel and 37 in sumter. tonight and tomorrow we will be seeing clear skies.
