3 a house lawmaker wants to use close to 200 million dollars to pay for maintenance of public colleges across the state.in the past governor haley has been opposed to issuing a bond bill for colleges.reprentative jim merrill ... the creator of the bill... says he agrees with the governor that they shouldn't fund new construction ... but he adds that the state has a responsibility to prevent existing buildings from falling apart.merrill says colleges included in the package would have to meet certain conditions, such as freezing or lowering tuition. 3 the roads bill debate in the senate will continue today. yesterday..after a week of blocking the roads bill from a vote this session, senator tom davis sat down. but senator lee bright took his spot, continuing the filibuster, to fight a proposed gas tax increase to fix our state's roads. bright says the department of transportation needs to be reformed, saying he doesnt think a roads bill will pass this session. bright said there are half a dozen conservative senators who are

3 in kershaw county... a student at lugoff-elgin high school is accused of threatening to shoot one of his teachers.he's 18 year old cameron mose oreglia.deputies say a parent who monitors their child's social media accounts tipped them off to what happened. they say that parent noticed a message to their child from oreglia that threatened a specific teacher. the parent passed the message along to school officials, who then notified the school resource officer.deputies say oreglia admitted to writing the threat. 3 in orangeburg county... deputies say complaints about suspected drug activity led to

county man.he's 35-year-old isiah williams.deputies received several complaints about a parking lot at broken arrow road and old number six highway. they say the callers believed the lot was being used as a meeting spot for drug sales. on february 17th, a deputy found two people in a vehicle in the parking lot. officers found two bags with about 4 ounces of marijuana . bond was set at $75-hundred dollars for williams. 3 3
