we all have our problems. i don't know his situation. >> reporter: troopers say saturday night washington was driving under the influence when he crashed into car. this morning the passengers in the car were still in the hospital. one in serious condition and the other in minor condition. >> reporter: we reacacd out to the highway patrol for a copy of the incident report and they haven't given us the information tonight. we reached out to washington but haven't heard back from him. >> thank you. richland county day care worker has been arrested arrested for neglect towards a child. barbara priester. he hit a baby in the face with her hand while working at kinder academy daycare. she has been fired from her job and the baby didn't receive any injuries. barbara priester is now in jail

tonight an inmate is charged with threatening the lives of a judge and deputy sheriff. sled says september 2 last year he threatened a judge and deputy while at the county courthouse. according to the department of corrections he made the threats on the same day he was sent to prison on assault and battery and arrested for a murder charge. now, the midlands most accurate forecast with chief meteorologist jim gandy. >> today has been a warm day. it is still nice outside. we have clear skies at the moment. temperatures 71 degrees. winds from the west, southwest at 7 miles per hour. tonight it will be clear. low 45 degrees. tomorrow it will be partly cloudy during the day. with a high temperature of 74 degrees. we are expecting showers tomorrow night and it will be turning cooler on wednesday.

forecast coming up. >> all right. thank you. in route rot we know the name of the -- in richland county we know the name of a man killed in a car crash yesterday. 24-year-old charles cob was a passenger in the car when it ran off the road. no other vehicles were involved. the driver is in serious condition. the accident is under investigation. the highway patrol is investigating an accident where a tractor-trailer over turned before 1:00 at dutch fork road. nobody was hurt. but part of the road was shut down as crews eaned up the mess. after fuel and mulch leaked out on to the roadway. there have been three different shootings along hard scrabble road in richland county within 3/10 of a mile.

december a man was shot and killed and this weekend a woman was shot in the publix parking lot. some in the area say they are nervous. here is news 19's chuck ringwalt. >> reporter: she works in the rice creek village shopping center. >> i was surprised that it happened in this area. it is quiet. very family oriented. >> reporter: in september a police officer and a man were involved in a shooting. in december a man was shot and killed at a gas station and saturday a woman was shot in the publix parking lot. safety. that is your job as a mother. when there is an incident close nervous. >> now that we had an incident at my grocery store i will not be coming here after 8:00 p.m.

he got out of the home unharmed. his wife was out of town with their three small children. he says had they been home it would have been tough to get everybody out safely. >> it scares me if they would have been home. i think about that because where their bedrooms were located down the hall, our bedroom was over here, the kitchen is in the middle. i would have had to run through the fire to get to them. which i would have done. i would got burnt up to go get them, you know, but i would have had to go through fire so it was a blessing they weren't home at the time. >> the competition is when the family found out their house burnt down. we prayed for the family. they took up donations and we had parents run to walmart to get the kids clothes, toys and

investigate a suspicious person at richland mall. there is good news for the folks in richland county. spears creek church road has now reopened. the october flood washed away the road making it impassable for months. it effected a lot of people who use that road. the good news is, the road has been repaired and it is back open. in the market for a new home, a conference is taking place in apple in richland county -- place in route rot. it is an -- in richland county. it is an opportunity to discuss issues and learn about your rights. the conference is saturday april 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at adventures children's museum. you must register by the end of march. gas prices are up 3 cents

the average is now $1.53 a gallon. but we are still cheaper than last year where we are paying $2.11 a gallon. the cheapest price in our state for filling up is $1.32 in rock hill. disney is rolling out seasonal prices in california and florida. the new pricing will charge different prices depending on the time of the year. it will allow guests to see which days are considered value, regular or peak and people will pay more when forecast. prices for annual prices will not change. a retailer made lottery history, that is because they sold three tickets worth $200,000 for last night's cash

the sunshine we warmed up nicely. it effect ising a good part of the southeast. we have a weak front that moved in but that will be dissipating. you can see e main front right here. that is where the cold air is. look at this. temperatures in the mid-20s in those areas. south of that front 60s and 70s throughout the southeast. right now in south carolina it looks like 68 degrees in greenwood and rock hill 70. 71 degrees in columbia. our computer model showing tonight we will start out clear and we will stay cheer tonight. tomorrow we will see clouds coming in. maybe a few showers through the upstate. our best chance for rain won't come till tomorrow night, late tomorrow night. a band of showers come through the state.

wednesday it is out of here and we are back to sunny skies. our forecast, tonight, cool. low temperatures of 42 degrees in camden. 45 lexington and columbia. 48 st. matthews and orangeburg. tomorrow low to middle 70s. 72 saluta. 73 winnsboro. 74 columbia and sumter. and 75 in manning. our seven-day forecast, well, there will be rain. but in this forecast the rain occurs at night. we will see rain tuesday night thursday night. during the day time, the rest of the week it will be dry. turning cooler on wednesday with a high of 63. down a 59 degrees on friday. plenty of sunshine. we will start warming up, next monday a high temperature of 72 degrees. >> the rain tomorrow hate we >> yeah.
