34 people are reported dead from tuesday' s attack, another 200 injured. >> the services are very proficient people. we are also convinced that they are professionals, too. it is difficult, but i' m convinced that we will win. mark: isis claimed responsibility for the attack. security experts believe they were probably in preference before friday' s arer rest. lisa: right now, fears in kentucky center on a young couple still unaccounted for in the aftermath. a lexington woman says they can' t reach her niece or her niece' s husband, who were at the airport about the same time as the blast. stephanie and justin shults lived in brussels.

mom off at the airport to return to the u.s. the family tell us the mother is ok. mark: a local woman studying in brussels was actually inside the airport at the time of the blasts and scrambled to find a bathroom to shelter in. >> some people thought that the loud noise was like a car crash outside. some people said they thought it was a machine that exploded. mark: alison is a notre dame academy grad and is now studying for her masters at a university in brussels. she had just gotten off a flight from switzerland when the attacks happened. after some time, alison made her way outside the airport and was able to see the damage. >> and so i think then, that affected me the most, knowing that there were direct victims from that terrorist attack and feeling very lucky that i wasn' t one of them. mark: alison says she is studying international migration to help people from different cultures integrate peacefully and keep tragedies like this one from happening again. we' re staying on top of the attacks on air, online, and on your phone.

you can keep up with the new developments on wlwt.com and our mobile app. lisa: new this morning, more trouble on 275 by the river. police were called to another serious crash overnight. this time it was on the kentucky side, right by the combs hehl bridge. it' s the latest issue along this stretch of interstate in the last two weeks. andrew setters is live near the bridge with a look at the problems in this area. andrew: the problems in the vicinity of the combs hehl bridge seem to never end lately. eight days, four wrecks, and two of them were deadly. a crash send two people to the hosptial. their car was headed west on 275 on the kentucky side of the river when it smashed through a guardrail and rolled down an embankement. two people were inside and both were taken to the hosptial. the car still hasn' t been recovered because it' s in a

a crash on sunday along 275 proved deadly. cory lippmeier is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide after his car rear-ended another on the interstate. scott petredius was killed after his car was hit. police believe lippmeier was impaired and speeding at the time of the crash. and then there was another wrec k. it could be several more days before crews are able to get into the ohio river and recover bridge during last week' s crash. river currents are too strong. that accident happened in a string of chain reaction wrecks along the bridge last tuesday. just yesterday, a crash that didn' t cause any death or injury other than headaches for people trying to drive there. a trailer tipped over, spilling mulch all over the interstate on east 275 near u.s. 27. this accident earlier this morning when not cause any problems.

wlwt news 5. mark: the two front-runners in the 2016 presidential election brought home a pair of wins last night. for the republicans, donald trump dominated in the arizona primary, getting more than double second runner-up cruz at 47%. kasich came in last, with 10% of the vote. however, in the utah caucus, texas senator ted cruz charged ahead of the two other candidates, receiving nearly 70% of the votes there. kasich pulled ahead to second place in utah, with 16%. lisa: democratic presidential front-runner hillary clinton widened her lead over rival bernie sanders in a resounding victory in arizona' s critical primary tuesday night. but it was actually bernie sanders that took home the most states last night, winning by significant amounts over clinton. while clinton won in arizona by 58%, vermont senator sanders took home more than 75% of the votes in both iadho and utah' s but before last night' s was on every candidate'

both sanders and clinton made statements against terror group isis, who took resposibility for the attacks. mrs. clinton: let' s work at preventing the terrorists, let' s isolate them from a vast majority of muslims and let' s defeat them and do everything we can to protect america, europe, and our other friends and partners around the world. mr. sanders: it is clear to me, and i think the entire civilized world, that isis must be destroyed. we are making progress in iraq. isis is losing about 20% of the territory they held last year, but clearly we have got to do more. lisa: democratic voters will go to the polls again this saturday for caucuses in alaska, hawaii and washington. republican candidates will not have their next contests until next month. mark: let' s check in with kyla. kyla: we' re talking about construction. foster road, this will take

with other nations to bring the perpetrators to justice. the attacks killed at least 34 people and left scores wounded. we' re hearing from more witnesses to these attacks. on jerry springer' s podcast that he does every tuesday night in ludlow, kentucky, he interviewed a woman who flew back to brussels after visiting new york city. lisa: cheryl miller says she was heading to baggage claim with the explosions happened. >> just suddenly we all heard a huge explosion and everything started rocking and shaking and dust and smoke flying everywhere. everyone running for cover. and yeah, i just high-tailed it out of there. lisa: cheryl is grateful she had issues with her passport when she first got off the plane. she fears without that issue she would have been closer to the explosions. mark: a cygnus spacecraft took off from cape canaveral late last night bound for the international space station. the unmanned rocket is loaded with supplies for the station, but it will not be returning to earth.

the cincinnati zoo' s newest animals now have a surrogate parent. the mother of the cheetah cubs who were born premature two weeks ago passed away last weekend. so a dog named blakely is stepping in nursing the five cubs. the zoo says she will provide cuddling and a body to climb on for the babies. blakely has also nannied for several other zoo babies. mark: speaking of the zoo, happening today, the western lowland gorillas will get an early start on their easter egg hunting. zookeepers will hide colored eggs and other treats around the gorilla enclosure. this is the 25th year that the zoo is holding the fun spring event. the hunt begins at 11:00 this morning. lisa: if you' re not in the mood for eggs this easter, starbucks new drink is sure to get you in the spring-time mood. the coffee chain has officially introduced the caramalized honey latte. starbucks says it' s made with a slow-cooked, caramalized honey sauce that gives it a unique flavor. the latte comes hot, iced, or as a blended frappuccino.

we are seeing clear conditions. no delays. we are accident-free. we will continue to keep you updated. mark: thank you. new this morning, yet another crash onto 75 near the comb hehl bridge. lisa: andrew setters is live this morning and northern kentucky with more on the overnight crash. andrew: this bridge on both sides of it has really proven to be quite dangerous over the last eight days. we' ve had four major reqs including yesterday' s that tied up traffic on 275 for about three hours. early this morning, a car went off the interstate near the comb hehl bridge. it headed westbound on the kentucky side of the river. it smashed through a vehicle, went down an embankment and two people inside that were both taken to the hospital.

a written or -- a wreck near the comb hehl on sunday left one man dead and another facing charges. police believe corey look meyer was speeding and appeared when he rear-ended another car. he pleaded not guilty. the driver of the other car was killed in the crash. then there is the crash that caught everyone' s attention and became a national story when a car went off the bridge just over a week ago, chain reaction crash sent a card to the river off the bridge. the vehicle is still sitting at the bottom of the ohio river because conditions are too dangerous for rescue crews. searchers might be able to get to it on thursday or friday. police know who drove the car, but have not said who it is. there was a crash that happened just yesterday morning, 275 shut up or three hours eastbound in kentucky when a trailer spilled its load over the interstate, a major headache for people. the accident that happened overnight should not cause any

they have not recover the car. that will probably take place later this morning. andrew setters, wlwt news 5. mark: memorials are growing in honor of the 34 victims of s terror attacks in brussels. at least 200 others are injured. lisa: the belgian flag is flying s embassy in washington. bouquets of flowers also surround the flag. isis has claimed responsibility brussels airport and train station. mark: officials in brussels say three men may have been behind one of the attacks. they have been identified, the two suicide bomber stressed in black and photos, as brothers. the pair are suspected of having ties to the paris attacks as well and died in yesterday' s explosions. a massive manhunt is on to find one of the men seen in the tan jacket. police say he left the airport shortly before the attacks.

waiting for the agonizing news, desperate to hear from a couple of the brussels airport. they were there around the time of tuesday' s attacks. family members of stephanie and justin schulz have not seen or heard from them since they dropped stephanie' s mother off at the brussels airport tuesday morning. according to family members, the mother is ok, but they cannot reach her daughter stephanie or son-in-law justin. stephanie went to high school and college in lexington. the couple moved to belgium in 2014. >> but all they can really do is go from hospital to hospital looking at the list of people that have been identified as injured. we do know they' re not on the casualty list yet or they' re not on the casualty list as of this point. lisa: the family says communication continues to be sporadic, and they hope to hear one way or another very soon. mark: stephanie' s mother is ok as are more than 20 cincinnati university students who are

away from the attacks. bri tyl er just happened to leave the trip early and arrived in cincinnati on saturday. 19 students and two faculty members were supposed to visit parliament in brussels on tuesday them up with the visit was canceled. the group looked for new hotel further away. >> i was happy that i was home, but i am worried about my friends that are still over there, and i immediately wanted to get in contact with them and make sure they were ok. >> shut down and evacuated. kind of nervous, not sure why was evacuated. next her security precaution. mark: the group will be in belgium until friday. right now there are no plans for the students to cut the trip short. lisa: hillary clinton brings in another projected victory in arizona last night.

helping her keep omentum going from five big win for last week, total of 85 votes up for grabs in arizona with democrats awarding delegates proportionally so margin of victory is key in three states. voting for democrats. in utah, bernie sanders was able to win the caucus. the vermont senator also has been named the winner in idaho' s caucus this morning. arizona brings a large hall of delegates for the winning republicans. donald trump will take all 58. ted cruz john kasich get nothing. ted cruz is projected to win the caucus in utah, getting all 40 delegates there. the devastating terror attacks in belgium put national security at the front of tuesday' s primaries and caucuses with each of the remaining candidates taking swipes at their opponents while offering tough talk on terrorism. >> we need to move aggressively against isis, both in the air and on the ground, and to destroy them and continue to fight the battle against this

after the terror attacks. the city twitter account tweeted out earlier that cincinnati stands with brussels. or on that story in a moment. let' s get a check on some stories that are trending this morning. mark: visually inch -- visually impaired children are using the years instead of ice to hunt for easter eggs. [beeping] mark: that' s the sound of an easter egg designed specially for blind children, and it' s part of a special project in california designed to let visually-impaired kids participate in some spring holiday fun. they can' t use their eyes, so they use their ears. children honed in on the beeping to find the eggs, which were exchanged for treats. lisa: pretty cool. a brawl broke out between an easter bunny and a shopper at a new jersey mall. the floppy gloves came off after a shopper got angry when his child fell off the bunny' s lap. words were exchanged, then out came the rabbit punches. both men were charged with assault and both had outstanding

mark: no background checks for the bunny rabbit? wow. you might want to do that next time, i' m just saying. a man nicknamed the french spiderman performed a new treacherous climb on a skyscraper in paris monday. alain robert scaled to the top of the paris' total tower, roughly 600 feet in the air. as you can see, he did it all without any cables to catch him if he fell. robert has climbed over 100 buildings, including the "new york times" building in new york city and the world' s tallest skyscraper in dubai. why? because it is there. we finish each other' s sentences. the american diabetes association is bringing awareness to the many americans who are at risk for type two diabetes and may not even know it. lisa: they held an alert day earlier this week, and kyla woods joins us with more on this effort to make us all a little more aware. kyla: a great effort and you -- all it takes is a few minutes of your time, really, one minute. the ada says it' s a wake up
