record -- a clothes rack of jeans. let's get weather and traffic right now. justin berk will start it off. a bit of a muggy start again. we have some fog to deal with because of the showers that came through overnight and still stuck in the humid environment. 72 degrees downtown baltimore. check out baltimore county, we have 100% humidity in muncie. owensville, 66 with 97% humid. upper 60s to around 70. the showers have pretty much ended. we have some clearing that is allowing the moisture to develop some fog. it's clearing and it is condensing the moisture. and we have some fog for the first couple of hours of daylight and then we'll get to 82 with scattered showers later

in the day. traffic is moving long nicely here on the outer loop of the beltway. and we have a lot of volume on this hour on liberty road. and also building volume on the east side of the beltway as well between white marsh boulevard. but we have some good news. the earlier incidents have been cleared and the crash on the onramp from the beltway headed to northbound 83 clears off the exit ramp. and the southbound harbor tunnel has been reopened. and traffic does get by on both sides of the tube there. and the jfx on the north parkway, we have no accidents to talk about. 5:three 5:31. federal officials investigating the june's metro crash are backing off some of the statements they made. they first learned about a march failure of the train safety system just last week. on wednesday, she said a metro

employee spoke about the march incident the day after the june 22nd crash. the crash was avoided march the second only after a train operator used an emergency breaks in avoid hitting another train. investigators want to know who is responsible for vandalizing a football in baltimore county and stealing the donated food from the concession stand. >> they took like 25 cases of gatorade, all of our candies, potato chips. >> it happened this week at county home park in crockesyville. bleachers at the park were also vandalize. it's a stand that is one of the major fundraisers. >> it's not about the money. it's about the kids playing football. so the concessions that allow kids to play that otherwise would not be able to. >> the police have no suspects at this point. the league has received some donations to try to make up for

can't afford the change. but supporters say that it will pay off in the long run. in howard county, an accident killed a 26-year-old man. he was on a riding lawnmower and working on annapolis junction and he tumbled done a steep hill and got caught under the mower. he was rushed to the hospital where he died. miss shirley is back home in cherry hill. a stray bullet came through her window and lodging into her left breast. she's more committed now to helping the neighborhood children. and that bring it's hope and inspiration to other activists. they're planning a peace march and rally right outside her home tomorrow night. consolation energy going to help people in the neighborhood. the program will name energy
