welcome back. good tuesday morning. an amazing find in up state new york. check this out. a farmer in new york in rochester found a monster egg in his chicken coupe. little roberta. two and a half times the size of a normal egg. guiness once listed 142-gram egg as the world record holder. this one is just a few grams short >> i couldn't believe it. you open up the chicken coupe and sitting inside the nest with five others is this bee moth. >> there is an ostrich running around somewhere. you might wonder what is next for the monster egg. like many before, it is test inned for the frying pan.

another crash southbound harrisburg expressway. middle river. eastern avenue closed both directions, martin avenue and kingston due to a struck pedestrian. traffic beginning to build as you make your way southbound but moving along with no delays. quarter to 7. around the world and also in washington the debate is heating up over u.s. military presence in afghanistan. >> on the heals of a death of an american marine in maryland. linda. >> he was just 24 years old. as a child he listened to story about his grandfather a marine who served in vietnam. when he was 8 he said he would follow in those footsteps. parents say they are proud he died doing what he wanted to do. he left for afghanistan back in may. they begain a major operation in the southern provinces. late last week he was shot and killed on the battlefield.

school have a difficult day ahead of them. this morning they are dealing with the tragic death of a 17- year-old student, quest logan. he was a student at the school. the teen died in a car crash his mother reported him missing sunday night and his car was found yesterday morning off 83 near the 695 ramp. a facebook group was started by his friends more than 450 students joined to share memories about logan. a baltimore man will spend at least 10 years in prison for his involvement in a shooting. he fired shots into a chinese food restaurant last year. daniel taylor was hit in the arm. the teen was grazed in the head, perez pled guilty to assault and handgun possession. sentenced to 25 years in prison. the judge suspended all but 10 years with five years probation. >> funeral arraignmentments set for a mount eerie family found

dead in their family. the service will be held saturday for the tall tan father or mother lay. -- tall on the family. charles dalton shot his sleeping wife then his two children and then himself. they think financial issues caused him to kill his family. two teens are charged with the attempted murder of off duty police officer aaron harris. he is still recovering but at one point over the weekend he was put on life support. he is now listed in stable condition. montgomery county police say a rockville woman was killed when a tree fell on her in her front yard. she was doing yard work in front of her home on oak tree road 5:00 p.m. sunday when a tree fell. police say she was taken to a nearby hospital where she died. this incident remains under investigation but rainfall may have led to the tree being up

rooted and falling in the first place. 20 years in prison the sentence for a man who crash add stolen truck into the side of a home in monk moncton last year. he had more than a dozen charges on his record before that crime spree that led to the death of mary sullivan. >> losing her probably the most difficult thing any of us have had to deal with. we feel like justice has been served. if he just would get his life together and come out in 20 years as a new person, that is all we can pray for. sullivan's teenage daughters awoke from sleep in another room inside the house to find their mother dead. this man thomas lee skipper charged with robbery and second degree assault. on friday he tried to steal several items from wal-mart in

severance. a loss prevention officer tried to hold him for police but skipper nearly stabbed the man in the face with a hypodermic need spotlight got away. skipper was later found at his home. president obama heading to denmark hoping to bring home the gold, silver and bronze. chicago is his adopted hometown and wants to be home of the summer olympics. so much so he will take a day off from health care to go with his first lady michelle and go over on thursday and make sure they are going to give a double dose of charm to the international olympic committee hoping to win a nod for the windy city. >> american people ared with. we want these games. now the president is the first sitting president to make an olympic pitch in person. the first american city to host the summer games since atlanta did it in 1996. competition is fierce, madrid, tokyo rio are all in the
