county say they believe their fire house is safe after a volunteer died from bacterial meningitis. the 23-year-old died earlier this month from an infection. members of the community fire company cleaned the fire house. >> initial test results came as a positive. secondary results on a second test shows it was negative. >> matt true ran his own landscaping business. at this point his fellow firefighters say no one knows where he contracted the infection. tonight two men face charges in a drive-by shooting in washington, d.c. that killed four people and wounded five others. a witness says they had just

returned from a funeral of another shooting. the shooting last night was the worse in 16 years. police believe a dispute between neighborhood crews may have lead to the violence. a woman and a child are hospitalized tonight after being splashed with a dangerous chemical. it happened monday night. the acid-like liquid burned the woman and her 3-year-old daughter. police believe it is a domestic-related incident and are looking for a suspect. >> she said it is on me and burning. >> she was worried about her daughter because she didn't know what was going on. she didn't know how much stuff had got on her. >> authority aces say the ace say the mother suffered burns on her eyes leg, neck and cheek.
