we are following breaking news tonight from downtown baltimore. good evening. i'm kelly swoop. hazmat crews are on the scene of a medical leak. fire officials say a contractor accidentally hit a valve that caused a refrigerant leak in the hospital's air conditioning system. we are told patient, staff and some firefighters have been affected by the leak. we are told it is considered to be a respiratory irritant. now to a developing story. baltimore county police are investigating a shooting near east point mall. it happened at 1:30 this afternoon on north point road. two men were walking together when one took out a gun and shot the other. >> he fired several shots. we don't know how many times the victim was shot. my understanding is at this

time he's in surgery. we are hoping he pulls out so we can figure out what's going on here. >> officers are searching the area looking for the suspect. meanwhile two teenagers have been charged after a stabbing outside of the mall. it happened last night near buffalo wild wings restaurant. cops say they found an 18-year- old with a life-threatening stab wound. friends who were with the young man told police two suspects came up to them and started arguing. it got physical. the victim was stabbed with a nonlife-threatening wound. suspects ran off. they were located moments later. police don't think this was a ran dam act of silence. we are learning at the man charged in the deadly driveby shooting in washington, d.c. on tuesday. four people killed. five wounded. d.c. police requested arrest warrant for orlando carter in the death of a man killed
