life. they have the lights on in the stadium. putting up the final touches on the board. they're painting that last strip. i gotta tell you, fans, of course, you'll get the classic opening day festivities, music, all the pregame ceremonies, but you'll see a lot of changes. one thing they've done outside the utah street gate here, they've given the numbers a new touch-up, new paint job, they're nice and shiny. inside you'll see lots of changes too. close to 18,000 seats on the lower level have been replaced. new seats have higher backs, cup holders, there's a new way to find your seat at the ballpark. they switched each row from letters to numbers. perhaps the best noticeable change is that menu. this year you'll find a lot more to eat. salads to gluten-free beer. lots of restaurants have set up shop at the yard. game time is 3:05.

rescue teams have headed back into west virginia mines to look for four miners missing since an explosion killed 25. officials say they are also using a pump to pump in nitrogen to flush out dangerous gasses. they hope the men made it to one of the rescue chambers in the mine. television producer bruce redman has been detained after his wife's body was found in a sewer at the moon palace resort in cancun. he was producer of the cbs show survivor and was on vacation with his family at the resort. witnesses reported they saw the couple arguing before she disappeared. >> good guy, good heart.

it's a cold front pushing showers onto the eastern shore. heavy rain off the coast. that's pretty much what we had to deal with south of baltimore and west of baltimore yesterday. right now it looks as if we're pushing that front out of here. roads are still damp in spots. we have a strong wind pushing reality back in. 9th of april, typically we aim for 62 in the afternoon. 84 yesterday. we'll be blow normal this afternoon. records aren't even worth worrying about, we're not going to be close. we'll look at sun up officially 6:39. 7:38 on set. hopefully we'll see an improvement by that point. it'll be an interesting day. 52 degrees in baltimore. look at the 30s, allatoona back towards pittsburgh. working in behind this frontal boundary. most of the rain being pushed off the coast. cooler air being pushed back in here. forecast model indicating the thickness of the cloud deck will be pushing across the bay at lunch time. there should be breaks of sun down by camden yards. as the cold air works across the great lakes, the clouds try to filter back in during the

afternoon. so there's a possibility we go from partly to occasionally mostly cloudy skies downtown and clouds try to break as we head through tonight. tomorrow, gorgeous day and weather system to our north on sunday will push in high clouds late in the day, but that's going to warm back up close to 70. we're looking at the first pitch at 3:05. gusty winds, 15 to 25 miles per hour. temperature near 60. just below normal. much cooler than it was all week long. it'll feel chilly if you're going to be outside. variable cloudy skies. it'll hold in the 50s across the harford zone and back through westminster. 57 this afternoon. clouds may try to make a return across the eastern shore as well. we're aiming for slightly milder 62 in easton. for tonight, we should try to clear things out. that allows us to slip back to 39 towards daybreak. the weekend forecast looking pretty darn good right now.

sunday we're back to 72. here's kim right now with traffic. >> thanks, justin. a sold out game this afternoon is going to mean heavy congestion and big delays downtown. lunch time, pretty much through the evening rush. you can expect to see road closures, parking restrictions and police downtown directing traffic. give yourself lots of extra time. we're looking really good so far this morning. 97, south of the beltway. traffic is moving at and above speed in some instances. beginning to build in terms of volume on the outer loop. managing to move at a good pace down towards 95. we have a couple incidents we're working. let's check the maps quickly as you make your way southbound on 895. we have a crash reported on the lombard street exit. that's causing minor delays. outer loop, 140 rrts reports of disabled vehicle downtown. this is just because everyone's

wood lawn roller skating rink to open another week while the county code enforcement officer decides whether to close its license. tying up traffic, violating closing times, staying open past midnight. this keeps the rink open until at least 6:00 p.m. next friday. put down the cell phone when driving your car. the proposed ban on using cell phones while driving is moving ahead. it could come as early as today. supporters believe to win approval, and it will, the general assembly session wins on monday. it would make it a secondary offense which means you'd have to be breaking another traffic law for an officer to pull you over. drivers we talk to seem to think the proposed law would be a good idea to make the roads safer. am the proposed law now moves, goes to the governor's

desk for a signature. if you're cited while being on the cell phone behind the wheel, it could cost you $40. the celebration was hot in annapolis, literally. governor martin o'malley and a group of maryland lawmakers had to evacuate o'brien's oyster bar after 11:00 last night. there was a fire. this is a picture of what o'brien's looks like. according to the baltimore city, they were at the bar last night holding a celebration for about 40 freshmen members of the state legislature. the no one was injured. there's no word yet on the cause of the fire. we're all looking for ways to save a buck where we can. if you have kids, you know they can be quite expensive. this morning they don't have to be sherrie johnson joins us from timonium. >> reporter: good morning, that's right. in these tough economic times, here's a way to save some money. the top swap consignment sale kicks off this morning at the
