opening day. >> it's my third opening day and every year, it gets better and getter and the people and the atmosphere. it's a great place to be this time of the year. the weather is not too great, but hopefully it will turn around. >> reporter: the orioles' fans pull out all of the stops on opening day, including having a nice vehicle like this one. for these orioles' fans, it's all about the preparation leading up to a good game and a good season. now for a look at tonight's top stories, talking on your cell phone while driving will soon be against the law in maryland. state lawmakers have approved a ban of hand held cell phones. you can only be pulled over if you commit another violation first, like running a red light. a wheelchair stolen from a man who is paralyzed from the waist down has been found.

the police found the wheelchair on wednesday night. jimny sawyer's specially made wheelchair was stolen from the house last friday. witnesses say there have been teenagers with the wheelchair. so far, no arrests. an officer was leaving his home in hanover, pennsylvania when his dog named stewy ran out and chased an animal. a witness saw a gray utility veekd pull over and get the dog. we are just five days away from the tax deadline, the irs has advise for you on how to avoid scams and how one teen's hard work landed him a spot at one of the nation's elite military academies.

>> she said call 911. >> yes, ma'am, my wife is in the bathroom. she is breathing all over the place. she thinks she is having a baby. oh, my god. >> she is having the baby? >> i think she is having labor right now. oh, my god, i can barely hear you, ma'am. >> reporter: on the other end of the line is 36-year-old angie adams working the late shift. >> what did you immediately pick up in the call? >> oh, he was scared. he was panicked. he was speaking very fast, very hyper and i knew we had something going on. >> hold on, what's your address, sir? >> oh, my god, i'm looking at a baby. i didn't know my wife was pregnant. >> you didn't know your wife was pregnant. >> no. >> reporter: how can that be? they didn't know that a baby was coming?
