office says the city is aware of of the 5problem. >> there is underground erosion right next to where the dam is. they are worried about long term and breakdown. but be clear there's no imminent threat of a major breakdown right now. understand there's a risk and we're going to be moving later this year on a number of repairs. we have staff here to monitor the water level tat the dam nearby. >> well, the dam as you can see there's cracks in the dam they have been there for quite a while. >> reporter: fred man 'tis and his wife have used the park in the past. he sees that it's time to ñdam. >> since it was built in 1920, you know, it needs repair replacement it's due for that. unsafe.
