charges she violated campaign finance laws. it's of the last chapter in the corruption scandal that ousted sheila dixon from office. pros dutiors says holton asked developers to pay for campaign polls and they say it was a favor in exchange for holton to get tax breaks. holton is accused of veg lipscomb and john patter being ais to fund the poll during reelection campaign but lipscomb and paterakis pleaded guilty to the charge. if convicted, holton would not have to leave office because it's misdemeanor. prosecutors are trying to get a more serious bribery charge reinstated after the judge dismaysed the case. the trial is set to begin at nine at courthouse east in downtown baltimore. the case will be heard by judge sweeney who also preside over dixon's trial. in the studio, linda so, abc2 news. >> it's time 5:46. an officer is on leave following a police-involved shooting. we are told a baltimore city schools police officer shot a

robbery suspect at the harford road family dollar store. police tell us that a person outside the store witnessed the robbery involving thee men ran across busy harford road to get help and that's when the officer jumped into action. firing his department issued handgun after one of the suspects made a threat. we have been told the suspect will survive. police are still looking for two other men. the devonte bundley loved sports and especially basketball. those who knew him wants to know how the seemingly healthy 18-year-old could collapse on the basketball court and die. sherrie joins with us how those in harford county are remembering him. >> reporter: he died while doing what he love the most, playing basketball. he collapsed during practice with the harford community college team and this morning, friends and family and his teammates are trying to come to terms with what happened. it was the first practice with the team weassments freshman on campus over a month but it was enough to make quite an impact

for some of you. 50 in baltimore. 57 up towards new york. but 40s pack towards the west. it's the cool air. the covelettal storm is yet again riding itself a very slow movement up to the north. wrapping in cold air and the wind around that coming out of a counterclockwise direction. it's north to northeast for us. it will be gusting 15 to 20 2/5 miles per hour and closer to 30 along the shorelines. we are expecting to have the rain pretty much locked in all day long. and that is going to keep us chilly. we were talking about the potential of getting a record here. a record low high temperature that would be 54. we were 53 at midnight and we will see if we can get back in the afternoon. rain stays with us. a moderate rainfall through lunchtime. keep it indoors and looks like the wet weather tries to lift up to the north by the evening. watch low pressure up towards long island and southern new england to get stuck and wrap itself back and rain around it. we will be on the edge with a mixture of clouds and showers tuesday and wednesday. but most of our rain comes

today. rainfall amounts could range from anywhere from a half inch to two inches across parts of the mid atlantic and we have to get a lot more to get record rainfall for the dates. but it's possible with the slow moving storm if we get that moderate rain band aloft in some locations. 53 is the guarantee for today. and if we do that, that means we have the coolest high temperature for this day just a unique record to throw into the books. see the way you slice it a. chilly wind. gusts up to 25 miles per hour. for tonight, back down into the 40s. and rain should taper off to showers and spotty showers but not the steadier rains for tuesday and wednesday. highs try to crack back into the low 60s. we will get near 70 on thursday with lows in the upper 40s and low 50 degree range and we will push it back into the low 70s with sunday next weekend. here kim with the traffic. hey, kim. >> reporter: hey, justin. with the wet road and road spray maybe for reduced visibility. drivers are keeping their speeds down. we are not very fun start for your monday commute.

killed four people and injured 13 others in georgia. georgia highway patrol says the van rolled over on a highway just south of blakley. no other vehicles were involved. reports are that a rear tire blew out causing the driver to lose control and the vehicle struck the median and flipped several times ejecting some of the passengers. the group was on their way to florida when the crash happened. scarry moments aboard a frontier airline flight bound for denver. traveling from mexico saturday night when the toddler became sick. passengers say that the 3 hour flight felt much longer because they could sense something was really wrong. especially when some overhead flight attendants were laying the child -- relaying symptoms to a doctor. when the plane land in colorado, passengers were held on board while paramedics examined the young girl to find out what was making her so sick. >> wouldn't extend the jetway out to the plane. so, i was a little worried. makes you nervous when you see ets -- emts on with mask and
