$9 entrees but the consumer web site, walletbop.com, says restaurants are not charities and have to make up that money in other places. it says restaurant's biggest prove it margins are not on steak but on the cheaper items so its worst restaurant deals include non-alcoholic beverages where you may pay $2 now for a 20-cent glass of coke. wine which may be marked up 200 to 600%. pasta with that $12 plate of spaghetti really costs the restaurant $2, pizza same as pasta. and from the dosen't that stink file the disappearing free drink refill. they say many restaurants are now dropping free refills. doesn't that stink? so if you're watching the dining budget you may want to ask if refills are free before you ask for that second glass of coke. if you're trying to cut those restaurant bills there's one area where you should not be cheap and that's the tip. servers are low paid and depend on gratuities to pay their rent

closer, let's take a look at your neighborhood as we zoom in here to the center part of the city. this is a forecast for tomorrow for you, mt. vernon to about 60, federal hill, you should make about 62, and as we take you a little further north and east elkton about 59 or so, looking for about 61, mostly cloudy conditions in aberdeen, most maybe a stray shower, not a lot of rain, better chance they'll come in saturday evening. still a little bit of wet weather working up towards the mid-atlantic. philly getting steady rain as is pennsylvania, but again, across the east. bottom line is large circulation here, area of low pressure, and this is bringing in the rain for much of west virginia, much of pennsylvania, and the heaviest of this now surging up in to new york where there are even some reports of rain mixed with snow earlier, upstate new york. but none of that for us. that chilly drizzle continuing to come in wrapping around a canadian high, just off to our
