we'll update you on the breaks news. a school bus caught fire in the fort henry tunnel. two people walked out and may have suffered smoke inhalation. there are no other reports of injuries. right now we don't know whether there were any children on the bus when it caught fire. we don't know what school district the bus belongs to. road three and four of the tunnel are closed to traffic. officials are encouraging everyone to find a different route around the area. counterfeit cash moving through the area has been a problem. this time police catch the guy. good evening. i'll roosevelt leftwich. last month we told you about fake cash turning up in and around carroll county. this time it was in annapolis. brian keebler has more from

abc2 news. >> reporter: over the weekend in annapolis authorities picked up a total of $600 in counterfeit bills. five $100 bills were in this man's back pocket. he was arrested friday on a separate warrant but has new charges thanks to the fake bank roll. >> it was obvious because they were together and had the same serial number. >> reporter: the other hundred dollar bill that turned up this past weekend was harder to flag. annapolis police say the bill was used here at the steak house in annapolis. it was a chemically washed $5 bill somebody made into a $100. the region has seen this convincing and fake bill before. two weeks ago in westminster we told you about several $5 bills

chemically watched into $100's used at walmart and food lion. the bills passed the pen test because it is the same paper. the only give away was the water mark. police are looking for this woman caught on walmart's security camera. so far no leads. it is a case that interested annapolis police. >> you get the information flu the secret service. we watch and read the newspaper and see what's going on in other areas. >> reporter: feds and local authorities now working to peel away the layers of ink to see where these bills are coming from. annapolis brian keebler abc2 news. >> the man annapolis police arrested has a record of robbery and assault. now he has a charge of forged currency. police believe in man robbed several convenience stores. authorities say each time he displayed a knife or gun. suspect is believed to have once lived in the area.

economy is stimulating. in democracy 2010 candidates for baltimore county executive will face off tonight. they'll duke it out at the debate at umbc. event starts at 7:00 tonight. turn out a philadelphia man who threw a book at president barack obama will not get the book thrown at him. video shows the book sailing past the president. the author was hoping to get the president to read his book. agents saw the man throw the book. they detained him and determined he was not a threat. it turns out the man arrested for streaking at president obama's philadelphia rally did it to win a million dollars. a billionaire recently offered a million dollars to anyone who could streak in front of the

i think we need tax breaks to send kids to college. so i worked for a $2,500 tax credit to help pay for college. fought to get pell grants expanded and insisted that college loans go directly to kids instead of through banks. i'm barbara mikulski. i approve this message. because it's not about the next election, it's about the next generation. right? yeah!!!
