homes in the area. the city has condemned 54 units in the dutch village apartment complexes alone. and yesterday's storm also rolled into baltimore county. people in parkville are cleaning up after some powerful winds knocked down just about everything in its path. no one was seriously hurt. now to help people affected by the storm, the mayor has setup a disaster relief fund. sawyer realty has committed to donate $10,000 to kick off that fund. baltimore businesses and individuals interested in donating to disaster relief fund can do so through harbor bank of maryland, you can send it to that address there on your screen. for more information on this disaster and how you can help head to our web site, abc2news.com, and click on the local tab. and you know what joce, we're still waiting to hear exactly what that storm was and it's an academic argument to see if it was some straight line winds, a bit of a burst or an actual tornado.

right now the indications looking more like that may have been a tornado on the nose of that line of storms, we'll wade to see and get word from the national weather service later tonight. let's look first at what we're seeing out there tonight. cloudy skies, not much rain in the area, that's for sure. skies are clouded up. we had a patch or two of frizzle early, right now 5 sweeps in motion, the most powerful radar in maryland showing you have nothing out there until you get up to central p a. we're in the 40s across the state, expecting those temperatures to drop tonight well down into the 30s, the rest of the evening in the 40s, mostly cloudy. it will be breezy out there, definitely dress warm, put on that extra layer as you head out and about. sunshine and a big twist in the weather on thanksgiving day. it's all coming umm. >> thanks wyatt. the case of bear bear, a siberian husky shot in a dog park over the summer will be heard in an annapolis courtroom

tomorrow. he is accused of shooting him at a dog park in august. he says bear bear attacked his dog but the owner says the two dogs were just playing. the case had been dismissed but was re-opened after a huge public outcry. abc 2 is working for you to keep you and your family safe. tonight police in baltimore county need your help to solve an armed home invasion. brian kuebler has the details in tonight's crime checker. abc 2 is working to keep your community safe. each week we're highlighting recent crimes in your neighborhood. this week baltimore county police need your help solving an armed home invasion in perry hall. police say 25-year-old anthony norman scott and 2 other men forced a woman back inside of her home at gunpoint in the 5500 block of overlook circle back in late august. they then tied the victim down and ransacked her home. after months of investigation the detectives have identified anthony norman scott and one of the other suspects. anyone with information on scott ears whereabouts or any

other information related to this violent home invasion is asked to call metro crimestoppers at 867-lockup, callers can remain anonymous and be eligible for a $2,000 reward. you can get more from reports by heading to abc2news.com/crime stopper. the nation's security chief is defending those intrusive pat downs and body scans at airports that have caused a huge outcry among passengers. he said there was a key reason the screenings were beefed up. t.j. winnik has the details. >> reporter: after policing it the tsa says it had no other choice. they have regularly been able to sneak banned items past airport screeners. >> it was largely because we were not being thorough enough in our pat-downs. >> this week a passenger punched a tsa worker in the chest after going through a body scanner.

a district attorney in california has warned tsa workers at san francisco airport they will be prosecuted if they inappropriately touch passengers during a pat-down and this confrontation with a screener has gone viral on the internet. >> you touch my junk i'm gonna have you arrested. >> reporter: according to security officials the pat downs is yielding results, these tsa photographs obtained by abc news shows passengers are still trying to smuggle contraband on board airplanes. from marijuana and jack daniels to ceramic knives. the new tsa demonstration told congress that the ongoing eye intelligence about the threats to airplanes has left him very little choice. if you are asking do i understand the sens activity yes, am i going to change policies, no. >> reporter: t.j. winnik, abc news, new york. general motors is heading back to wall street. we'll have more on how the

stocks finished with big games thanks to stronger economic data and hopes to the end to ireland's debt crisis. the s & p was up 18. general motors is heading back to wall street. gm shares began trading once again this morning on the new york stock exchange. the company is planning to raise more than $20 billion in the biggest initial public offering ever. >> we have paid all of our loans back, we have paid all of our preferred stock back, all with interest and dividends, and this is about a 50% return of the government's ownership position. they still are a significant owner in the government -- in the company and therefore the share -- the taxpayers are, in a sense, shareholders as well. >> gm shares traded at $34.80
