kim. >> reporter: justin, we are going to be thankful for the dry roads while we have them this morning. and that's impacting us in a good way because we still don't have any accidents to let you know about right now. traffic is off to a good start. as we look on the west side, 695 at liberty road, again, moving very freely. no reports of any days. everybody is moving at speed for the most part towards i-70 and down towards the baltimore national pike. looking at the drive times, no reported delays on the harrisburg expressway, southbound 95 a #-minute trip between -- a 6-minute trip to the white marsh and 7 printsfrom 795 to 70. we are probable will be -- minutes from 795 to 70. and we are problem free this morning. >> thanks. 5:31. it's been the model of success as a five and dime store. now the supreme court will hear arguments against wal-mart. abc2's linda so is here with the details. how is it going?

>> reporter: well, it won't be about rolling back prices today. wal-mart has something bigger to worry about. fighting a huge lawsuit before the supreme court. women who say they were passed over for promotions, paid less than men and were told to pretty up for work. it started with six women in california who didn't know each other but claim they went through the same thing. christine seas wal-mart discriminate-- says wal-mart discriminated against her. she says managers held business meetings at hooters and referred to women employees as lynn jilly cue -- little januaryy q's. she is -- janey q's. she is suing on behalf of nearly every woman who worked for the company. >> i asked about why the maleswere make more money and i was told they had a family to support. at the time i was a single mom with two kids. >> reporter: wal-mart denies the claims saying it never had

socked with a spring snowstorm on monday and the roadways became slippery. snow covered streets are maimed for an 11-car crash -- blamed for an 11-car crash on route 460. now maryland's most powerful doppler radar and the forecast certified most accurate by weatherate. we showed you that on the radar yesterday morning. we were watching it on sunday morning. so two hits of wentry weather to the south. -- within the -- wintery weather to the south. temperatures are into the lower 30s. they are near and below freezing not only here in baltimore but from witchmond and norfolk. the cold air made itself known. and with the sunshine, we will try to get back to 52 our two degree guarantee. clouds increase ahead of the next system and the track that tries to sneak up to the northwhich puts us in the target for potential snow. you seen stickage to the south and it's possible here. we will try to break down the forecast in a mom. here's kim with a look at traffic. >> reporter: justin, depending where you are headed, it will

the state senate could vote as early tomorrow on the budget. the state senate president says they will look at close to 1.6 billion dollar budget gaps through costs and cuts and modest service increases that includes fees you pay at the mva. there's the controversial alcohol tax that's on the table. today a rally is planned in protest of the high gas prices we have been experiencing. according to aaa, the average price for regular unleaded is 3.56 a gallon. demonstrators will be calling on the elected officials to do more to develop alternative energy sources. that rally is planned forenoon at the corner of falls road and cold spring lane in north baltimore. baltimore city public schools want your input in a new grading policy that is under consideration. so tonight you have a chance to voice your opinion. a meeting will be held from 5:30 until 7 at the baltimore public schools district office,

maryland. this system here is going to ride itself in our direction. we are on target to get something out of it. the timing of the day will probably bring us an onset of maybe some snow going to a within theory mix of rain and then what happens behind that is definitely your pick of computer models for the possible scenario. we are looking at our particular computer model which shows snow back into the mountains. this has been running behind schedule. likely, it will be closer to us at daybreak tomorrow. there's the possibility because of this pattern speeding up, some of us could be waking up with snow this time tomorrow morning. in the morning, we could have something to talk about. during the daytime hours, expecting it to turn to rain especially in southern maryland. snow into the mountains. this is wednesday evening and watch this model take on the snow back to the northwest. rain basically near baltimore, annapolis, even shore but some models pick and developing a stronger coastal storm thursday night into fright. daytime temperatures in the 40s.

drywall to the door. authorities say john and christina confined their 4- month-old, 2-year-old and 4- year-old daughters. the 4-year-old managed to escape fled to a neighbor's house and freed the other girls. >> it was very brave of them to do that. so, i am glad they did because those little kids don't deserve that life. >> police found no evidence of injuries or malnourishment and believe the girls were in the room for no more than a day. a bizarre story out of florida. authorities say a 17-year-old girl pistol whipped her mother to get her to cosign on a sports car. teen went to the dealership and spotted a convertible she wand. she couldn't afford to get her own and she came back within an hour later and her mother was in tow. >> first she came in and did research on the car and got the facts on the vehicle and found out she couldn't get approved by herself. >> the mother called police while her daughter was in school and reported the incident. she told authorities her daughter pistol whipped her and
