smart phones for more details. the mets would win 2-1 in 14 innings. the events that unfolded about the killing of bin laden have -- ladin have been going on for years but most recently it was the focus for the president. he gave the go-ahead last week to kill bin laden. officials say at 3:50 p.m. yesterday he first learned that osama bin laden had tentatively been identified at a compound outside pakistan capital. four helicopters launched the raid. the raid hit a mansion in the area north of islam bad and one of the helicopters crashed apparently after being hit by ground fire. officials gave no word on casualties. the story has been exploding all over the web and we are covering it. head to abc2news.com and we have been updating it with new video, pictures and information and reaction. we have been going on new angels with the story so check

a threat of on and off rain. sprinkle and showers back to our west. and although we have a cloudy start with a few breaks back to the west, we expect to have showers built in on and off throughout the day today and then as we head into tomorrow, we will watch the frontal boundary make progress mainly during the evening. there could be strong thunderstorms really going to limit our threat of severe weather. i think it moves in wednesday night -- move out. the timing is suspect and suspicious. a reminder of what we had to deal with last thursday but this doesn't have the same punch although it may punch us on wednesday morning and we will see another cooldown for the rest of the week. aiming for 72. mostly cloudy skies. a chance of a shower and tonight we will settle it back down to 57. still a threat of a shower and you will notice that the threat of a shower will linger tomorrow and we will warm it back up to 80. we may get sun poking out and that may charge thunderstorms back into the afternoon. when you look at this extended forecast, i want to give you a
