any thunderstorms can be dangerous and any thunderstorm can pop up in some spots and miss others. watch this explosive development across the bay. this one was near denton. and we are looking at annapolis. this is clouds 35,000 feet high, maybe 40,000 feet with that nice top. that is nice explosive development with the sunlighting up the higher altitude clouds. but it by-passed annapolis and that's the course of the day yesterday. we had some storms blow through northern baltimore county and york and lancaster counties and we missed out in the worst weather couldn't mean that today is going to be repeat. we could have the same general setup. temperatures upper 60s to lower 70s. one little shower there over cockeysville timonium and hunt valley but the rest being of severe weather will be around even though many storms won't reach the limits. we will go for a high of will 7 -- 87. let's see what's hag on this muggy tuesday morning. >> reporter: drives are not too bad. baltimore city and baltimore county no accidents to report

all right look at this. surveillance video of a violent tornado hitting redding kansas. security cameras rolled inside a grain and lumber business. look at this. the owners say the force of the tornado was so strong that it

now "good morning maryland." baltimore county lawyer a business owner and a married father of two boys neighbors say he is hardly the guy you would suspect of trying to meet teenage boys online. p but police say he is confessed to it. linda so is hive this morning where scott kalin lives and has reaction from those who know him. >> reporter: we spoke with a neighbor who says kalin was nice but very interested in what everybody was doing. that neighbor says that he watched everything that was going on in the neighborhood and he actually looked into homes when the doors were open. this is back river neck road where it meets cape may. police were at his home and raided it and left with hours hours after he was arrested in florida. police say scott kalin started to communicate with a 14-year- old boy in january. he flew to florida on sunday to meet the boy and when he showed up at what he thought was the boy's home in lake county with a box of condoms and lubricants, police arrested him. detectives raided his home and

removed computers he, and computer equipment, and kalin is a local attorney and owns a business called fun house entertainment agency which arranges magicians and other entertainers for parties. the company's website says kalin is a master balloon artist loved by kids and adults alike. it's hard to -- >> it's hard to believe but people do weird things today. that's all i can tell you.>> reporter: veggors in florida say he confessed to near sexual encounters with other teen boys. here locally today, baltimore county detectives will look into the claims and see if there are any other victims here in this area. meanwhile, he remains behind bars in florida and is being held without bond. live in essex, linda so, abc2 news. >> thanks a lot. funeral arrangements have been made for the state trooper killed in a car accident. 39-year-old trooper shaft hunter died saturday morning on i-95 in howard county.

nor torque 88. this morning -- norfolk 88. down to 72 in baltimore with 60s where they have had stormy weather to cool them down. but adding to the humidity. a little stifling and muggy out there. typically, 54. we are doing it in the morning and 76 in the afternoon. we will shoot above normal. not quite in record territory but needless to say, we are going to have summer energy to feed into the storms. sun up at 5:47. down at 8:21. hard to see some of the sun early on because the remnants thunderstorms blowing out but keeping cloud around leftover early morning thunderstorm in west virginia. and then blowing themselves out on and through central western tennessee on into the ohio and mississippi river valley basin. overall ring we are expect -- overall, we are expecting another flare-up of storms. energy from new mexico and upper level winds that will feed into the energy and develop storms here within the yellow shading. a slight risk of storms including central maryland and including baltimore annapolis

dc and back towards salisbury and ocean city later towards the evening. and if any of the storms have the risk of pinning -- any of the storms has a risk of spinning up. but this is the zone from oklahoma into kansas. maybe southwestern missouri near joplin there's threat some of the storms could have 80 miles per hour winds, baseball sized hail and large spread numerous outbreaks of tornadoes yet again. for us, though, we are going to watch the eastern edge of that storm complex. again, morning showers and storms holding together in through west virginia. the future radar indicating we will get a flare-up prime time in baltimore is between 4 and 9. so we will watch for that threat here. storms firing up and listen for watches and advisories and warnings and any storms could drop dangerous lightning and quick flash flooding and some may reach severe limits but not all. we will reach severe levels. same storm, another flare-up back to the west and we will have the threat continued throughout the week. today's two degree guaranteed
