yourself in the event of an attack. family members of murder victims spoke out during a bail review for the dc police office are accused killing the mother and infant. she was found shot in the head and one-year-old jalen died of heat exposure in the car. the dc officer was held without bond on a charge of first- degree murder and manslaughter. wright and her family claimsphillips is jail n's father a mat to be decide by dna testing after a paternity test on the child important hearing on the morning the mother and daughter were killed. >> i think for everybody in the community we share the family's pain. we share their pain and we look forward to prosecuting the case. >> phillips has been a vice detector with the metropolitan police department since 2003. he's worked there as a narcotics officer. a woman in baltimore county says a man climbed right through a window and attempted to sexually assault her and

police are looking for this man, 23-year-old ronald preston. police say back in april, he climbed into the window of a home in the 5600 block of uteric road. he was attempting to sexually assault the victim when she woke up. he left when she opened her eyes. anyone with information on this person should contact 1-866-7- lockup. as the school year comes to evened, more and more teens will be out on the roads and aaa says you need to watch out. this is the worst time year for them on the road. >> unfortunately it's a very deadly time for young drivers and we want parents to remain cognizant of that and stay involved in the teens' driving. >> a-aa says 7 of the 10 deadliest days of the year fall between memorial day and labor day. between the months during 2005 and 2009, 7300 teen drivers and

toll increase proposals we have been hearing about targets them and say it's not fair. the hatem bridge carries route 40 and the toll is $5 like i- 95, the bridge a few miles away but hatem suing a decal system. regular users pay $10 a year for the decal which gives them unlimited trips back and forth between harford and cecil counties. the maryland transportation authority's plan would eliminate the decal system and drivers would have to sign up for ez pass unlimited transportation across the hatem trips would cost $36 a year and $1.50 for the month for the transponder and the mandatory $25 deposit into the ez pass account. >> for the most part, people in havre de grace and cecil county don't use i-95. they don't have ez pass. this is the way it's been forever. >> officials with the maryland

transportation authority says they will listen to suggestions but tentor -- senator jacobs says if -- if they don't change the plan she going to support a lawsuit again the authority as well as the state. well, another politician wants to clean up the streets of baltimore and wants to lower your taxes. state senator katherine pew announced intend to -- intent to run for mayor. she addressed supporters in the west baltimore district and says if elected she will tackle the high property tax rate, and other items that city residents are currently facing. >> only in this city only in this city do whoa pay a bottom tax and only in baltimore are we paying the highest for water. it makes no sense. we buy the water. now "good morning maryland" at 4:30. ten days after nursing student disappeared the police are calling it a homicide. she was seen on may 27th at kaiser hospital. they believe she was killed in the parking garage of the hospital and she was targeted. she did her rounds that night

and then there was -- that was the last time she was seenp she said she was going out to her car and no arrest has been made. north carolina bus driver is accused of assaulting a special education student. a school district released thevideo of her getting out of the seat. you can't see it but the arrest warrant says she struck a 10- year-old girl on leg with her hand. such an act violates the school's ban on corporal punishment. the driver was suspend for two days and later re-- suspend for two days and later resigned. she faces two misdemeanor assault charges. the driver has not publically commented on the incident. i love this. morning commute for pennsylvania drivers end up with a pig in a blanket. a reporter was on the scene where a pig was running into highway traffic causing motorists to dodge it. one woman stopped and managed to get the pig off the road. the reporter helped catch the pig and put it in the woman's car. you see him there. she says that she rescued wildlife for a living and police were arguing over jurisdiction and who would come for the and ma-- animal.
