warning labors that will -- labels that will be required on all new cigarette packs. the new labels are graphic. we have more on this new campaign. >> reporter: when americans go to purchase a pack of cigarettes, this is what they'll see. the fda unveiled nine new graphic images that will be required on all cigarette boxes starting in october 2012. >> we want to make a different and help people to stop and discourage those who haven't taken up the habit. >> reporter: the fda said while the number of those smoking has de-- has stalled. the labels will be hard to miss. they will take up the top half of paul cigarette packs front and back. this marks the most sweeping

out from mt. areay and have to get towards hagerstown, you may encounter showers and storms around the hancock area the heaviest is south of i-70 towards headsville. back around baltimore, there's not much out there one renegade3 storm. humid and hazy, 84 degrees. 65% humidity and winds southeast at eight miles per hour. that is a bit of a human breeze. that bay water temp up close to 80 in spots. a hazy day, you'd have to call it for the first day of summer in baltimore. lots of sail boats. it was certainly warm enough for that and mount airy, a few passing clouds. it did stay on the hazy side. 89 in hagerstown and york pa is at 87. cooler towards southern maryland where it will be cloudier.

moisture levels high. dew point numbers, any time you get a dew point above 70, consider it oppressive. so humidity high. thankfully, the temperatures are not overly hurt. heat index values is what it feels like. there are some pop-up showers and storms this heave nchght the main cluster central northern virginia. there's that one cluster towards hagerstown and the hancock area. the overall pattern quiet on the east coast. new area of unsettled weather. a much better chance for at least scattered showers and storms this time tomorrow. boy, the heat will begin to build in the next few days. you already see it in the coastá pal southeast. in charleston, futurecaster, again, slight chances overnight. we pick up more widespread
