controversy. just in time for halloween, a video that has some people believing in ghosts. you be the judge. a young football phenon is lightning on the field. >> i work hard. >> why was this 11-year-old banned from scoring too many touchdowns? she was found shivering in a rain storm a long way from home. >> over 3,000 miles away from florida, where cooper was found. >> the story of cooper's two-year odyssey and how he got back to his family. hello and welcome to "right this minute." i'm beth trautman, it is monday, october 3rd. we'll start the show off with some violent images coming out of a school? >> called a high school in flagler, florida, the 16-year-old student is attacking other students apparently over a girl. you can see he took a couple of punches to the head and a school resource officers steps in to try to break the fight up.

they start to stumble through the crowd and off-camera, allegedly the student head-butted the resource officers, gave him a cut across the eye. now he's got the resource officer on the ground. he landed a couple of punches on the officer. he also knocked down a high school security guard. he hurt his back. the student was arrested and he was facing felony battery charges at the time. these images are scary enough. but it's also started a different discussion. four years ago, a tazer was used on a special needs student. and that's when the district said, you know what, maybe tasers aren't such a good idea in the school. this fight has brought that debate back up. >> i think it's ridiculous that this members of the board seem to have knee-jerk reactions. they need to have a poliicy the think works and keep it. >> if they wrb to tazed, you know parents are like, my son shouldn't be tazed. we're talking about having tazers in the school for children.

an historic prison, alcatraz in the bay area may be changing the way you experience your visit there. i first saw the story on ktv in san francisco and i had to share it with you guys. the park service that's responsible for alcatraz is considering expanding your experience and they're thinking about offering overnight stays, which i'm totally down for. concessions, food, while you're there. and also more access. they really want to revamp the future of alcatraz. i mean it's been the thing for

afghanistan. they range from 22 years old to 40 years old. >> one of those players is joining us right this minute, the third baseman, saul vasquez, coming to us from new hampshire. how did you all relearn to play this sport that you all love? >> well for most of us, it came pretty naturally. i mean the guys who are policing an arm, both of them i think had to relearn to throw with their opposite arm that they actually didn't use before. for the most part, it's just muscle memory. it comes right back to you. >> you guys are playing some tough competition? are you guys hanging in there? how you doing? >> i think we're about three or four games above .500, we're getting better as a unit. it's coming along and it's a lot of fun. >> how important is the activity for the guys' mental well-being? >> it's huge. if you would have told me four and a half years ago when i first got hurt that i would be out there playing softball again just as well as i did before, i would have called you a liar. >> at the end of the did the wins or losses really matter to you guys?

for teens, it is a noncriminal offense. that gets them eight hours of community service and a fine. the second offense, it will become a first-degree misdemeanor. and here is the punishment for the third offense, it becomes a felony with a maximum of five years in prison. previously in the state of florida, if someone under the age of 18 was caught sexting, it could be a pornography offense. and they would become a registered sex offender. so basically, this new law actually softens the punishment for teen offenders. >> regardless of what the consequences are, there are consequences to this. if you're a 16-year-old girl and you sex your boyfriend, and you think he's not going to show anybody, he's showing everybody. when you break up? definitely he's showing all his friends. >> but what is the real goal with something like this? is it to create conservative god-fearing kids out of these

♪ ♪ the olympics are coming up next summer and i'm getting so excited. videos are starting to pour in promoting them. this is one just released by mini, as in mini cooper. this is british jumping champion and he jumped over three mini coopers. he's also an olympic hopeful. so it makes so much sense that they would use this to unveil their three new limited-edition london 2012 mini coopers. i follow the track and field. that's the thing i get so excited about the olympics. this guy wanted to be a football player. but he had something called
