i'll have that story coming up next on abc2 news. it's healthy city days in baltimore, a week long effort to help people get a move on. the city wants people to learn about prevention and not wait for the sickness to show up. we have more. >> reporter: this week is about encouraging people to get their health tested, find out if there are things like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other factors that can cause illness. ask someone who learned a hard lesson about the importance of healthy living. it's a message they're hoping to get out loud and clear. you really can't miss it. they've got big signs, sponsors, t shirts. there's even a table full of healthy snacks. if you want to fall into a

healthy life-style, it's as simple as this. >> it's a personal responsibility to go to the doctor and she what condition your heart and lungs are in. >> reporter: robert hall said he wishes he knew more about his own health. in 2007 he had a major stroke at the young age of 58. he's got paralysis and walks with a cane but said he's getting around okay. hall says what he didn't know four years ago did hurt him. >> i had a stroke. i didn't know what high cholesterol meant. i never knew what it means. i know now. >> reporter: hall says high blood pressure and high cholesterol took a big toll on his body and he hopes people will listen to this. baltimore, like many urban areas faces a lot of challenges when it comes to getting people

conrad murray continued with testimony from another doctor who saw michael jackson on the day he died. she gave permission for the jackson home to pronounce him dead but said the body was still brought to her in the emergency room department. show said that never happened before and murray wanted to continue resuscitation efforts. demonstrators were on wall street. now the group calling themselves occupy wall street are protesting their treatment. about 700 were arrested trying to cross the brooklyn bridge and many are crying foul. >> when you have seven or eight police officers standing at a block wade and start walking with the procession across the bridge, 250 people are going to assume it's shave to follow. >> police warned them not to

a 9-year-old pray pa by is in crit create after wrecking a car. he was driving the family's car when he flipped the car and crashed into a tree in northeast philadelphia. witnesses who watched this ran over to troy to help the boy and called 911. the boy was taken to the hospital with head injuries. police are still trying to figure out where his parents were. as many as 18 we will were injured on two flights that ended up landing in boston because of severe turbulence. one was bound for germany. the other was headed to boston from puerto rico. six were treated for head, back, neck injuries and one person was

and a community all with bright future. in mar dellous springs, i'm don harrison. >> walmart made a big donation to the meals on wheels program. members of the community and representatives of the program were on hand at the towson walmart and present meals on wheels with a $100,000 donation. the program supports home bound seniors. they said it couldn't have come at a better time. >> we see our clients monday through friday regardless of holiday, providing them with two thirds of their daily nutritional requirements. >> we know walmart is the largest retailer in the world, and the fact that they are making this commitment locally

for the course but that's not the case. here's that low beginning to shift north and east. that's going to allow much drier clear weather to between settle. big bubble of high pressure. it's going throb slow to change -- to be a slow to change weather pattern, still could see light rain in patches. look at the temperatures. low to mid-70s throughout the rest of the week into the weekend. again, you see what happens courtesy of that low pressure area right over the mid-atlantic holding temperatures down big time way low normal. it keep has couple passes of drizzle through the morning. skies begin to break up. i think we'll see a mix of sun and clouds. wednesday crystal clear, sunglasses. you're going to need them again for several days. again we have to get through early tomorrow.
