land in the 80s. sources are claiming the name and slur is visible in different points throughout the 80s and 90s. testimony resumes in the dr. conrad murray involuntary manslaughter trial. he is accused of giving michael jackson propofol. a woman with whom dr. murray has a child may have received shipments at her home. making news around the nation this morning, investigators are trying to piece together what happened at a chemical plant after a fire exploded outside of dallas. firefighters got away but the truck was consumed. police in strandton, pennsylvania are looking for two people accused of locking a 7-year-old boy inside a coffin inside a condemned house.

neighbors found the boy inside after they heard cries for help. the child told investigators he was put inside the coffin in the house all as a sign of punishment. if row if you got a plan, a suspect made escape after a chase in florida. it was caught on dash cam. the video started when police tried to pull the guy over. he wept the wrong way and it goes from there. the suspect took off. see the driver got out and jumped the hood and runs away. the police caught the suspect and arrested him. this you see, stuck, hood, escape. investigators in new orleans say they don't think this was an accident. they are not sure why anyone would do this, police are looking for a driver of this truck, surveillance video shows the truck slamming in to the parish da's office. the driver had to drive up a set of steps to get through the glass doors. family in pennsylvania shot this home video.

good morning maryland. hollywood is back in baltimore. hbo is filming a series including parts of baltimore. julia louis-dreyfuss, plays the former senator turned vice president. the crew is set to shoot the first 7 episodes. the film office estimates in five weeks of prep, 8 weeks of filming bringing $25 million in to the state and creating more than 2000 total jobs. apple expected to make an announce. tech giant will introduce iphone 5. it is expected to be less expensive. sleeker, faster and with a bigger screen. apple's iphone will take on the competition. android and motorola's droid. like christmas in october. it's anticipated the iphone will be available through 3 carriers, at&t, that's the

good morning maryland. charley crowson and this is your 2 news to go. a lot going on on this tuesday morning. tonya will help avoid backups on the roadways. first to justin berk. good morning, widespread conditions this morning, most of us chilly in the 40s, manchester one of those spots that indicate fog trying to develop with some brightening up above. chance to clear out overnight. the ground moisture produced fog. downtown is not an issue. looking at what could be a mixture of sun glare in a few parts and thick fog in others. temperatures mid-40s, we will average partly cloudy sky. breeze picks up as the day wears on and pushing in to the 60s. this will feel great today and a warming trend will continue through the weekend.

upsetting and feel like they are back to square one. 24-year-old amanda knox sat trembling before the judge. when she heard the decision to overturn her murder convictions she sobbed. her family who had been fighting to clear their daughter em praised each other. amanda and her former boyfriend were convicted of sexually assaulting and killing maredith kirch. maredith's family spoke out in italy. while they respect the decision, they don't understand how the condition vix from the first trial could be radically overturned. here is her mother. >> it's every parent's nightmare of something terrible happening. >> no word on exactly what time amanda and her family will arrive back home in seattle.

we will keep you posted on air and on line. police are searching for a suspect accused of sexually assaulting a johns hopkins university student. officialels say a female was walking to her apartment and attacked in an alley. it happened saturday night. the victim says the suspect was armed, though she never saw a gun. thousands work there everyday but never dreamed that a co-worker would become a shooting victim. a worker at the social security administration found them self afa robbery. kuren redmond is live in wood lawn with more. >> police are continuing their search for that armed suspect who shot the social security worker during his lunch break yesterday. it happened not far from the campus. this is the campus in wood lawn. we are told the victim was

walking down a path, not far from here when he was shot. the victim was able to make its way back to the campus before collapsing. police believe this shooting was connected to a robbery. the social security administration was locked down for hours while police searched for the shooter. police brought in search dogs, helicopters, and also homeland security, assisted with the search. shortly after the shooting, this was a report of a suspicious package at the health and human services building. that turned up nothing. we are told the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and expected to be okay as for the suspect, the search continues this morning. kuren redmond, abc2 news. protesters plan to march in baltimore against youth detention center. the march is scheduled to begin at 5:00 at the detention center and end at the academy high school. protesters call r calling for

investment, housing. it's held nationwide as part of a youth justice awareness month. the state says they need do more work to find out if research can chemicals are making people sick. a spokesman with the department of health says the incidents of limb fomas was 25% higher than in the state as a whole. more in weeks to come. police search for suspects in a string thefts in southwest baltimore county. there are 20 car thefts or attempted thefts in the kayton'sville area. the cars have been stolen between 1:00 and 4:00 , the thieves are targeting dodges, chryslers, jeeps, with model years between 1994, and 2006. the rain caused another delay in the opening of a road in harford. the overpass was supposed to

this man, rice, a professor at johns hopkins is sharing the 2011 noble prize in physics. he won it in stock home sweden. rice says his jaw dropped upon hearing the news and couldn't believe it. he didn't know if this would happen. a wonderful distinction. very cool. on that note, the fog seems to be expanding across the area. that will disperse. storm system, see the circulation, wrapping heavy rain, conveyer belt to the north side of boston, wrapping around new york city, rolling down towards philadelphia, traveling up 95, you may have to deal with that. we are on the bookside. it's had a chance to dry things out a little bit. break out the clouds overnight.

as a result, some of you have had a chance to let that ground moisture do its thing. we have areas of patchy fog, this is a time of the day where the fog can expand. we've got that inland. especially when you head away from the day. what i have seen has not been an issue. this set up can carry the fog and move it like a cloud from one place to another. it is just the first sign of breaking down this whole pattern. it pulls out of here and we should develop a partly cloudy sky, a breeze will pick up as well today. that's out of the northwest, gusts to 25 miles per hour this afternoon. it should help our temperatures get back to 67. a little bit below normal. tonight back to 47 degrees and here comes the sun, and here comes the fun. here comes the chance to dry out. 72 tomorrow. 70 thus. back to 72 -- 70 thursday. >> this weekend, looks like a good time with sunshine, and we
