coming. we're working with you on what you need to know. first, tonight a cockeysville man is behind bars in harford county after a young girl claims he raped her repeatedly over a two-year period. >> reporter: a child victim claims it was here at the super eight motel in be a ber dean that she -- aberdeen that show became the obt of a man -- object of a man's per version. she said the man brought her here over a two-year period. the charging documents refer to perverted acts. the death manager said detectives have requested records to try to place him here at the motel. >> if you're here, that means you're in my system. if uprent a room, you're in my system. >> reporter: they require a driver's license, credit card

and takes down the make, model of the guest cars. it's also located in a bustling commercial area. >> never have big issues like that before and all of a sudden, it seems someone is trying to play a prank on us. after two years, this happened. that's like, kind of funny. >> reporter: there's nothing funny about it for the 37-year-old suspect. phillip weaver has appeared in district court where he is charged with nine separate charges. it could land him in jail for more than 130 years. in harford county, jeff hager, abc2. weaver is being held with bail set at a million dollars. we understand from the state's attorney he will refuse comment since the allegations are still under investigation.

baltimore city police and johns hopkins university investigating a sex assault on a student on north love grove street, blocks away from the campus. roosevelt leftwich joins us with more. the woman was trying to go home from an eye vent on cam -- event on campus when she was attacked on north love grove street. the victim was walking pay loan down the alley when the man grabbed her and sexually assaulted her. the police are looking into surveillance video and working closely with clam pulse security. >> we work with them. we're inned greated with -- integrated with technology. we're confident that our partnership will help find a suspect. >> city police say if you have any information that could help, please call them or metro crime

stoppers. roosevelt leftwich, abc2 news. police arrested the person who shot a social security administration employee. police arrested gary stokes, jr. and charged will had attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery and other charged. police say stokes shot the victim not far from the campus during a robbery attempt. the victim made this back to the campus before collapsing, still in the hospital. stokes is being held in the detension center. a team of dogs have arrived to search for the remains of robyn gardner. she was reported missing by her traveling companion gary giordno. he claims gardner was swept away while the two went snorkeling. the group that occupied wall
