$200,000? this really happened to a woman in south florida. selena aaron. she has a brother who is deaf. his name is shamir. she communicates via text message. she has him on her plan. he went to canada and forget to turn his data roaming off. he sent more than 2,000 texts, downloaded a bunch of videos. one charge for a video was $1800. one charge for a video was $1300. one charge was $2,000. we saw this story first on wsvn out of fort lauderdale. they contacted t-mobile and the carrier said they texted shamir and made him aware of the charges he was going to accrue for data usage in canada. this is something the ftc calls bill shock. this week there are new rules to notify customers of when they're in danger of extra charges on their cell phone bill. t-mobile lowered the bill from

$201,000 down to $2500. and they're giving selena six months to pay it off. we have selena aaron from south florida joining us right this minute via skype. you called and said i got a bill from $201,000 and they said that's right, that's what you owe us. >> yes. on top of that, they told me for my line to be reconnected i have to come up with half the money, meet them half way. >> what were you thinking when they brought this bill from $200,000 down to $2500? >> they know my bill next goes past "x" amount per month and they let it go beyond a certain point without letting me know as the primary card holder that hey, there's some high usage going on on your phone bill bill. i found out because my line got disconnected. >> leave the country, best bet is turn your phone off so you can avoid a lot of these usage charges. when you see this guy you're going to want to open your wallet to help him out,

especially you, steven. he's 47-year-old wesley warren and he has a huge medical problem, i mean huge. >> a growth weighing more than 100 pounds on the scrotum. it is a large adema.welling of around his testicles. >> he says he accidentally knocked his testiclessoier ball they've swollen up to 100 pounds because he has scrotal lympho deem ma. >> he's wearing a hoodie as a pair of pants. >> people look and stair stare. >> the doctor said it's treatable with a surgery or possibly castration. he wanted to get it treated without castration first and he went to the doctors at ucla medical center. they said there's no guarantee it will work. we can do the surgery it's going to cost you $1 million. >> you got to be kidding me. >> he went on the howard stern.

why? he said because -- >> it would be other males to have empathy or sympathy for what i'm going through. >> he says he suffers from depression and has suicidal thoughts bought says this is not going to kill me, i'm not going to let this take my life. >> i can't imagine walking around like that every day. >> i can completely understand his depression and how he would consider taking his own life, but how brave of him to say, i'm going to see how i can take care of this. >> this is a story, the bond between a mother and her daughter. we found this at news okay. in march of this year a woman named stacy found out she was pregnant. she was 41 years old. didn't think she would be able to have children. a few months later she started experiencing bad headaches, ct scans came back saying she had neck and head cancer. then she was forced to face the choice of her own life or the life of her child. she chose to not have

chemotherapy and then in august, she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. and a few days later the baby's heart stopped and her heart stopped. so they did an emergency c-section and they delivered her daughter, dottie may, just a little over 2 pounds prematurely. dottie may was take noon neonatal intensive care while the mother stayed in intensive care in another building. >> they told us it was impossible for her to see the child. >> her mother was finally able to open her eyes and hold her little girl for the first time. >> and they laid dottie may right on her chest and they just looked at each other. >> her love for her daughter was so strong she built up enough strength to meet her and three days later she passed away. >> talk about the most selfless act you could possibly make. >> now little dottie may is doing well and ray philip, stacy's brother, now has dottie may and will raise her along with his four children.

somehow she is not hurt and is able to walk away. >> that's amazing. >> and she's wearing heels. >> oh, my. >> one minute you're literally under a car being dragged, the next minute you're walking across the street. >> she was really lucky she was able to walk away. >> what better way to celebrate the world's first commercial space line than to dance on the side of the building. what we're seeing is video from the virginalactic space dedication. these are the projects, the dance troupe is dancing on the side of the building. it will offer orbital space flights to the public. this is the dedication to the building and the space port america which is in new mexico. you see the founder of virgin himself come down from the

rafters. >> awesome. >> sir richard branson, popping some champagne here, toasting to the crowd. these flights costs $200,000 each. so, it's a lot of money. here's the thing. there was a reporter in attendance, maggie mckee, from the new scientist and she says something is kind of up with this celebration. she thinks it's actually all smoke and mirrors. she took a peek inside this hangar. it's it's not finished. virgin galactic says it has $58 million in the project but only done test flights that haven't had any rocket fuel. is this celebration kind of to distract everybody, do you think? >> think about it, what project of that magnitude is ever done on time. >> i think this is a way to keep the topic in the news, keep us all talking about it so we don't forget about it and lose steam. >> this is the fund-raising tactic. >> what about branson's less than impressive dance moves here. >> he's not in cirque du soleil,

there's a new trend in wedding gowns and it has nothing to do with kate middleton. >> were these created by tim burton. >>? >> these were the gowns shown for the fall 2012 bridal collection from vera wang on bridal fashion week in new york. you can see all of this collection on brides.com. it's like a ball gown collection, not a wedding gown. >> i would actually expect my

bridesmaids to wear black. i don't see a lot of brides flocking to black wedding dresses. >> this is the most depressing wedding collection i've ever seen. >> some of them aren't all black. some of them are nude underneath and have a black overlay. a lot are chiffon or lace. they're a little more whimsical. there were no white or ivory gowns to be seen. she showed about 16 dresses. she was inspired by black lace and nude lingerie which she thinks is feminine and beautiful and traditional. vera wang is typically ahead of the crowd when it comes to bridal fashion and people usually follow suit. if you're not into the black thing it might be a little rough come fall 2012. >> white ivory has gotten a little old. it's refreshing. sarah jessica parker wore one in her wedding in the '90s. these will be in stores in the spring. >> their' always a season ahead. >> you could wear this to the perfect halloween wedding. >> yes. >> you absolutely could.

sometimes the best talent comes from the most obscure places in the world. this video comes to us from myanmar and shows a guy on the street with some incredible painting skills. but he's really got something going here. already in the beginning. fast forward a little bit. he uses some unusual tools here too. he gets out a knife and starts doing some work on the painting. >> geez. >> and you can really see this painting start to take shape. ♪ >> this looks like a bob ross painting. >> it does look like a bob ross painting.

i'm about to show you a video that can easily be called the most random video of the day. this video is ten years old, but it was just recently put on the internet and it's currently trending on-line. why? you're going to see what looks to be a motorcycle cop on a parking lot practicing some stunts. >> some maneuvers. >> some maneuvers. someone who's quite a bit away saw this cop on a parking lot, brought out his video cam and started shooting it. look at that stunt right there. >> what? what is this person doing? >> i have no idea. >> when i saw this i couldn't stop laughing because it's like, what is this cop doing? is he practicing stunts in case he's in a high-speed motor chase or something? >> when would you ever need to utilize that maneuver. >> that's the right-hand turn there. but he's -- >> but complete -- >> you know what? i know exactly what he's doing.

like it was a puppy or something. >> where did you take him? what did you do with him once you walked out of the supermarket doors? >> we took him out of the side door on the back side of the building and there's woods on the back side of the store and just released him back into the wild. he ran back up to the bank up a cliff and i'm sure he found his mother later on. >> there were no encounters with mama bear because that could have gotten nasty. >> yeah. that's why i did it as quickly as i did. i was concerned about if mama was around, she would have probably tracked him to the store and came through the same front door. >> and what happened with the vegetable afterwards? >> i spent eight hours cleaning the case. >> prince harry third in line to the british the lone, is in the united states to train on apache helicopters. he was caught recently at the belly up tav vern in san diego. here he is at the belly up tavern. rumor fix got these new photos

the wheel. the problemed with the story, a 9-year-old girl was behind the wheel of a car. >> mr. wiemer is facing two counts of child abuse and habitual offender charge from a previous drunk driving incident. no surprise there. when you let your 9-year-old daughter drive you around when you're too drunk to drive, you get the creep of the week award. this week nasa and japan released the highest resolution, top po graphic map available. this video shows basically what it would look like flying over the island of oahu. this was recorded by the advanced face born thermal admission and reflection raid yom ter which is on nasa's terra spacecraft and they took these 3d images and put them on top of one another and it shows it in almost perfect 3d. >> can i use this map? >> yes. that's what's so cool about this application. it's available to anyone who wants to use it and it's

saying, with cell phones and everything, everybody worries about the big brother thing, but the development and it technology will not stop. i love this idea simply because it would save lives of our soldiers and that for me is a big thumb's up. something really special happen at a stadium in iowa city, iowa, over the past weekend. the university of iowa before the game, got a real treat from everybody in the stands. >> oh cool stuff. >> this is a card stunt they were able to execute before the game got started. this stadium holds 70,000 people. it took 300 volunteers two days to set it up. it cost $80,000. and a dance team from the university of iowa and a high school band got together to make this happen. >> cool stuff. >> it's really cool, but i have to say, it's also not perfect. they've got spots in there. ♪

i have a new social media network for you guys. it's called circle me. it's a little different than what we normally see in facebook or google plus. instead of trying to connect to people, family, friends, whoever, this is more about collecting things you like. >> do you connect to other people as well or is it just things? >> you can want to share the things you're liking with friends, but the purpose isn't necessarily to connect or talk or communicate with people. >> so how is it a social network? >> exactly, right. a little different than what we're used to. >> the whole point to say i like all of these things, send me coupons? >> no. the purpose seems to be like you say i like all these things and maybe your friends will check out the likes. >> you can already do this on facebook. i can do this and not have to join another social network. >> you want to eliminate the silly wall posts or messages from people, maybe you want to see people's lives and don't
