in the south pole is making her way to johns hopkins to be treated. linda so joins us live outside of johns hopkins and east baltimore where she is expected to arrive afa global journey. >> reporter: she left new zealand last night and expected to arrive at hopkins later today. it's been a long trek back home. renae deshore was stuck at the south pole, rescued this, but stuck there since august after suffering what was believed to be a stroke. the new hampshire woman was working at the south pole research station and got sick. a rescue plane couldn't get to her. this morning, deshore is headed back home, she left new zealand and landed in australia. doctors believe deshore will be able to make a recovery with proper treatment and expected to stay until thursday.

jury selection will begin in the murder trial of britney norwood, charged with killing a co-worker at a club. norwood accused of bludgeoning murray in march inside the at letca shop. the killing came after murray found stolen merchandise in norwood's bag. in court, we will hear arguments in the case of an inmate on inmate murder, happening on the prison bus in 2005. the family of parker jr. is seeking $21 million from the state and correctional officers, who will board a vehicle during a nighttime trip to baltimore. the guards were negligent, failing to prevent strangulation by fellow super maxed inmate kevin johns. last wednesday, steve jobs was remembered at a private memorial by family, friends and colleagues. those closest to him decided to make part of that public. it's doing to be done so through a link on the apple

disappearance of a missing 10- month-old baby, baby lisa, vanished weeks ago from kansas city. video is surfacing of a possible suspect that could be conetted net -- connected to the case. >> investigators are wondering for a man seen is connected in some way to the disappearance of baby lisa. it was obtain bids good morning america. look at the top left corner, a man dressed in white is seen leaving a wood area the night of her disappearance. you can't tell if he is carrying anything. the family claims she was abducted. witnesses reported seeing a suspicious man that night carrying a baby. another person spotted a man where this was taken. gma reports police are investigating a fire that took place in a dumpster in the same
