4:02 pm
we'll begin today's show with video of a high-speed chase. but this chase might surprise you. >> we've got case of fair treatment or preferential treatment. what you're seeing are two police cars speeding down the highway. they're not going to a scene. one police car is chasing another. this is a pursuit that went on for about seven minutes. the car is a miami police officer. off-duty on his way to an off-duty job. the car that you're seeing the dash cam view from is a florida highway patrol officer. dj watts, the trooper driving this car, clocked the miami police car going about 120 miles per hour at one point. and witnessed it, she claims, weaving in and out of traffic. >> put your hands outside the window right now! >> she probably thought somebody had stolen the car. >> that's exactly what she thought. lopez, a miami police officer complies and is quite polite.
4:03 pm
but he did claim that he never saw the trooper behind him. >> that's refreshing, because don't you guys feel sometimes cops get away with driving too fast? >> it was a brave move on her part. she thought it was somebody who had stolen the car. she got out by herself with no back-up with her gun drawn. >> you know what? right now to me you are a criminal. >> no one should be going 120 miles per hour when they don't have to. you know, that's a danger to everybody out there on the road. >> real dangerous. >> lopez was criminally charged with reckless driving and released, which is a misdemeanor, not a felony, which could carry a much greater penalty. to help us understand this law, is david edelstein, a lawyer working in miami. >> if there's a police car with lights and sirens and you don't stop and you go at a high rate of speed, it's a second-degree felony. which in florida means that you could get up to 15 years in prison for it.
4:04 pm
>> what do you think should happen to this officer? >> well, i think he should be -- treated like anybody else. and anybody else would have been arrested for a felony. he should answer to this in court and hopefully he'll be charged by the state's attorney office, just like any average citizen, like you and me. >> this is going to be a juicy story. >> put your hands out the window. i'm going to show you a video that is extremely disturbing. it shows a sudanese man, who tbe beheaded. in a parking lot on his knees, hunched over with a blindfold on. in front of dozens of people, because he has been accused of being a sorcerer, a wizard. >> they just behead someone in a parking lot? >> anybody can just witness this, by accident or by choice? >> pretty much. >> reports say that abdul hamid
4:05 pm
was arrested in 2005, and was asked to cast a spell that would cause the officer's father to leave his second wife. in exchange for about $1600, he was beaten after the arrest and sentenced to decapitation in march of 2007. >> he was sentenced to death in 2007 and the execution just happened? >> in september of 2011. >> september 20th, 2011. >> that's what makes this video really creepy. people kind of passers-by watching. >> you think that's creepy, let me tell you that saudiies prefer beheading by sword because they believe it is more humane and quicker than execution by lethal injection. >> there could be a solid argue md made for that. >> it's all morbid and all awful to think about and it's all strange to consider. >> but then people are saying it's their country, their laws, they get to make the rules.

and after the story broke that she was a russian spy, there were pictures of her all over the internet. and she even famous i had posed for "maxim" magazine. >> yes, she did. >> and nick has evidently found those photos on his ipad. >> too bad we deported this chick. >> the reason the fbi is releasing these videos now is they say they want to send a very clear message to foreign intelligence services, that espionage threats to the united states will not be tolerated. it's getting close to that time of year where we dream of a white christmas. we don't really dream about a white halloween, but that's what they had on the east coast over the weekend. >> it's -- 7:42 a.m. in connecticut. got the generate or power for t necessary things. i have the computer hooked up temporarily. so i figured i would give you
