good morning. i am charley crowson. hope your day is off to a great start. thanks for starting with us. let's check the forecast before we get to the news and say hello, to meteorologist justin berk. >> good morning. we are checking out temperaturesthat are tanking off here. it's held up a little overnight. but now 40 at bwi and 30s andhike yesterday we could develop fogs in the last couple hours of darkness around sunrise. that was the case for spots yesterday morning. and we were right on the threshold along the bay where you get extra moisture. 37 this morning in easton. 39 towards pax river and to the west we have mid-30s. and also to the north in york, p.a. but despite the nuance and glitch here in the satellite imagery, quiet patchy clouds. despite the start in the 30s, it's a 6:42rise so by 8 a.m. we should push into the low to mid-40s a very warm afternoon by november standard with

sunshine at 69. check on the traffic with tanya. >> reporter: good morning. good news we will start out with the city and county roads in baltimore are accident free. so we don't have to worry about anything there. let's look live at our traffic cameras 95 at caton. 95 south at caton. all the lanes are opened now after an overnight accident with injuries. the southbound lanes were shut down. but they are open as you can see. this is the beltway on the northwest side at old court road near 795. very light traffic in both directions. nothing to worry about here through pikesville. follow us on twitter at maryland traffic for all the latest traffic information. charley. the grand prix is two months old the results are coming in. the city officials are telling those who planned the race pay up or else. it is an ultimatum for the grand prix and corinne redman is standing by with what this could mean. corinne. >> reporter: well, what it means is that the first baltimore grand prix could be the last. that is because the city is threatening to terminate the 5-

year contract with grand prix organizers if the group doesn't reconstruct and pay off debts to the city and vendors. baltimore city deputy mayor issued a statement saying baltimore racing development owes the city more than 1.5 million dollars. the money is is owed for city services, park and amusement tax revenues and owes vendors hundreds of thousands more. jay davidson stepped down but the group hopes to have a new crest o in place soon. -- ceo in place soon. davidson they have been working to structure payment plans but the city is giving until december 31st or they will terminate the contract. >> whether that means they sell or they take on new investors, one way or the other, they have to do something immediately or the city is not going to renew the contract. >> as a company recognize we need to be a little more buttoned up from an organizational perspective. >> reporter: some vendors have started suing the baltimore racing development group which

by police to get him to stop. the officers hit him in the back -- into a back parking lot where he refused to give up the gun. and officers opened fire. she is is saying she is not guilty -- she is saying she is not guilty in the murder of her he classmate and is telling her side of the story. records show she says it started with three boys who wouldn't let her reach something in her sink in her homech the men started to punch her and she says courtney mccoy was involved in the fight. mccoy was stabbed in the neck. the former school in baltimore polytech institute an announcement was made in the homeroom. the students had a moment of silence in mccoy's honor. another update in a college murder in virginia. a judge ordered yeardley love's medical reports to hand over to the attorneys representing george huguely. his attorneys want to prove she died of something else rather

than blunt force trauma to the head. he was the former boyfriend of love and she was found dead in her off campus apartment and attend the university of virginia. in the case of johns hopkins researcher killed on his way home in july of 2010. the would who helped to rob him will spend six years in prison. she was sentenced to 30 years in prison with half suspended. the sentencing is part of a plea day where she testified against her accomplice who was found guilty of killing stephen pitcairn. people in baltimore will live differently the next few days a gas outage that happened yesterday may last through midweek. how they are dealing with the safety tips and what you need to know we will turn to linda so with live information on the scene. what's going on? >> reporter: charley, we are in the 1400 block of fort avenue in locust point. bge crews have been here all night trying to fix the broken main. you can see the hole in the ground. that's where the mayne was

struck yesterday -- main was struck and they are trying to restore the gas. this is going to be a long process. it could take days before the gas is restored. a gas outage is different than when the electricity goes out. workers have to go door to door to each home to turn the at hap start fixing the broken gas main. crews will do several tests to make sure everything is okay and then they have to go back to each home and turn the gas back on. now here's something you need to know regarding the gas outage. if you smell gas in your home or business you need to leave immediately and call bge at 1- 800-685-0123. be aware this could last a few days and plan accordingly. and france sees scott key elementary will be open and conserve hot water in the hot water heater. you shouldn't use propane or kerosine heating devices in your home because it can cause carbon monoxide poisoning. make sure your smoke alarms are work and if you use your
