marched through the streets of beaver avenue at state college around midnight to rally for football coach joe paterno. the rally of support comes after rumors a turno was shown the door over the child abuse allegations against a former top assistant coach jerry sandusky. he faces the heat because some say he didn't go far enough in reporting the alleged abuse. student held a peaceful demonstration between downtown and different spots on the campus. some folks are calling for theresignation of the penn state president. tom ridge is a potential replacement for the penn state president. now reporters in the area caught up with the mothers of two of the alleged abuse victims and they say administrators dropped the ball. >> both are extremely -- feeling extremely let down and betrayed by penn state and the feelings come from the charges that are levied against tim curley and gary schultz and the

moral allegations basically that were made against joe paterno and graham and they say they should have done more. >> reporter: the penn state trustees plan to appoint a committee to investigate the sex abuse case. reporting live in the interactive news center, sherrie johnson, abc2 news. members of the baltimore city fire union says budget cuts hampered response times to the point where lives are in danger. they are taking the message to city residents at meetings like this one in the rosemont neighborhood of baltimore. the city has been rotatingfirehouses and union members say response times are within the national norms but the problem they say is what's okay nationwide is not the same for the baltimore city with thousands of homes and thousands more and many a century or more old many packed tightly in roads. narrow roads and alleys. >> we are trying to hold fast we are a cat in a tree holding on.

gathering is set for 8 p.m. from oakland university in rochester, michigan. herman cain says he is prepared to answer a lot of questions and we are learning new information about a woman who settled a sexual harassment complaint against herman cain in 1999. the associated report says she complained three years later at the next job about unfair treatment and she says she should be allowed to work from home after a serious car accident and accusing a manager of circulating a sexually charged e-mail. she lead the complaint while working as spokeswoman at immigration and naturalization service in the justice department in late 2002 or early 2003. but she said she didn't remember details about the complaint and didn't remember asking for a payment. this all comes as herman cain held a press conference to defense his reputation after allegations of sexual harassment leveled against him by four women including sharon bialek. >> my first response in my mind and reaction was i don't even

know who this woman is. >> women have a right to be free of sexual harassment and that's why sharon is standing up to fight back. >> reporter: another woman who started her work in washingtontroostled miami to help agency officials during the coverage of the ilonan gonzales case. feet voters in mississippi were not on board for a controversial measure known as the personhood initiative on the ballot tuesday. the proposal known as amendment 26 asked mississippians to amend the state constitution to define life beginning at conception eliminating abortion including cases of women victims of rape and incest. and even in cases that jeopardize the life of the mother. >> i think murder is rejected a measure they understood to be dangerous and understood to be bad for women and families in

mississippi. >> we are not conceding because -- we did our duty. we obeyed god. we have declared the truth. we have impacted our state. >> the initiative appeared to have lots of support, it was opposed by national right to life groups and catholic church in misp spy saying the amendment goes too far -- mississippi saying the amendment goes too far. questions linger how officers handled protest on october 25th. they used tear gas and fired bean bags and because the officers said they felt threaden -- threatened. they say video shows how bad the crowd was and they were justified in the use of force and several investigations continue. is tropical storm sean a subtropical system named yesterday and we were the first ones to let you know about that at five. and this storm now a full fledged tropical system a full warm core with 50-mile-per-hour sustained winds will roll into the open atlantic. outer edges of the rain will pull up into new england. we will get the frontal boundary tomorrow afternoon through the evening. a very thin little ribbon of rain but definitely a clear demarcation of a colder air mass and look at that blue shading there. that's snow. snow showers breaking out across the mountains including western maryland. check out wind forecast. southeast bringing in the moisture and then the northwesterly wind that pull in tomorrow at 6 p.m. through friday will be windy and colder. today, though, partly cloudy skies. we have fog this morning but mid-60s in the afternoon. pulling back into the mid-40s overnight and a small chance of showers not a washout tomorrow and it's about the winds. so after 58 thursday only 49 on friday. and mid-50s to 60 with sun over
