>> reporter: police in riot gear pushed most of the remaining occupy portland protesters out on sunday. a shadow of protesters stayed in the streets. two officers were injured during a clash with protestsers overnight. one officer was hit by an object. >> this isn't a game. this is real life. people's lives and safety are at stake here. >> reporter: the mayor wants the protest camp shut down, citing unhealthy conditions and said it attracts drug users and thieves. >> they are hear peacefully. if the police want to insight violence that's their card. >> reporter: philadelphia's mayor is increasing police presence in a camp outside city hall after a local woman was sexually assaulted in a tent. >> misconduct is not about free speech. >> reporter: the suspect has

been arrested and pressure is increased on protesters to shut down their camp. >> occupy philly has changed. we are seeing serious health and safety issues playing out on a daily basis. >> reporter: san francisco police say protesters attacked two officers during a march. one woman reportedly slashed a police officer with a razor blade. >> we did a lot to stay off the streets. maybe someone had something sharp on them but that's a conjecture. >> reporter: it is not always as peaceful as you think. all in all it was a good demonstration. >> reporter: despite their intend calls are intensifying across the u.s. for protesters to leave their camps or face immediate arrests. two people were shot and killed outside of dave and busters at the mall friday night. saturday morning prince george's county police surround the home of 22-year-old james coleman who had a police

record. he came out with an ak 47 and fired it injuring a police officer. police fired back killing coleman. the vet ten years on the force will be okay. victims were a 30-year-old of capital heights and 25-year-old of green belt. ann arundel county police do not believe it was a random shooting. park police have an arrest warrant out for oscar hortega. they think he was the one who fired shots at the white house on saturday night. police found an ak-47 inside a car on the bridge. the driver jumped out of the car and crossed the bridge in arlington. he has tied to idaho. he's 511, 160, brown eyes, black hair. he has a tattoo with three dots with the word hortega on it. israel is on the right side of his neck. maryland lawmakers say the

sexual abuse sex scandal says state law does not have criminal punishment for failing to report child abuse. jerry sandusky is accused of molesting boys as young as ten. that lead to the firing last week of head coach joe paterno and the university's president. maryland and virginia have mandatory requirements for reporting and it is punishment by fines for failing to report abuse. lawmakers in his state are proposing changes. two baltimore firefighters were hurt in a propane tank explosion in southeast baltimore this morning. happened the 400 block of north street. both firefighters had to go to bay view. there is no word on their conditions tonight. on saturday two people were killed in a fire on south fullton street. cause of the fires are under investigation.

tonight baltimore county police are investigating three bombings in baltimore over the weekend. first one happened at 1:30 saturday morning. a molotov cocktail was thrown in the back of the building. second incident happened moments later in the 3900 block of grove avenue. a molotov cocktail was thrown into a window. in the last incident a fire bomb was thrown in a window of an apartment on liberty heights. nobody was hurt. fire bombings are the latest of a string of 12 incidents that start back in september. it was a good weekend. we got lots of sunshine yesterday. we got sunshine to start the day today. then the clouds started rolling in. we are looking at satellite and radar combination here. we can esee the clouds are there. as we look at mars' ray -- maryland's radar no clouds are falling. as we look at the temperatures out there coming in around 62 degrees into baltimore.

it was a lovely day. things not looking too bad. we are seeing a few clouds out there. the temperature is 62 degrees. the reason why is we are dealing with the 60s is because we have winds southwest at 7 miles per hour. southwesterly wind is a warming wind. that will be sticking around as we go into tomorrow. we'll get warmer. into baltimore today we started out with plenty of sunshine out there. then we started to see those clouds moving in across the area. check out the sunset. it is gorgeous into baltimore. we are seeing the clouds roll in across the area. that's the name of the game through the next several days in terms of the cloud cover. maryland's radar not picking up on any type of rain. that's how we like it. especially if you are getting out to do yard work with errands to run. we don't want any wet weather. we have a couple days before

the wet weather moves in. highs today made it up to 66 degrees at the inner harbor. into annapolis 61. 61 d.c. 60 york. upper 60s in hagerstown. washington 14 mile-per-hour wind. easton 13 mile-per-hour wind. 7 winchester. neighborhood forecast tomorrow. we'll get on the mild side again. 67 degrees into locust point. little italy coming in at 66 degrees. looking at the satellite and radar this is what i'm talk -- i'm talking about. i'm going to call it partly cloudy through the rest of the evening. we get the bigger picture here. we are not seeing any rain around. that's the good news. you have to go into illinois to see rain showers falling across that area. it is basically isolated. this is a weather pattern now.

and what he had been through. >> reporter: he was saved by the county pound. dog lovers feared he would be put down if he wasn't adopted soon. >> when i seen him i fell in love with him. >> my initial thought was we'll find him a good home. >> he was 75% underweight. he was beat up. >> reporter: a few short hours after he was rescued, was hurcules who did the rescuing after someone broke in the home. >> i opened the inside door. he started growling. it unusual. he hasn't barked or growled up until that point. next thing i know he was ripping through of my hand going through the screen door on the back porch. >> reporter: hurcules sensed the presence of the intruder. before the family knew what was going on he was going after him. >> he jumped from the porch to

the other side of the basement following this guy who had gone through the fence. when he went to the fence hurcules pulled him. >> reporter: the intruder managed to escape. but they fear what would have happened had hurcules not been there. as for hurcules he certainly earned his rewards. a nice bone, a spot on the bed. >> and i think he definitely has a permanent home. to adopt a dog six hours previous to the incident and to have him defending you like that is amazing. >> hurcules -- that's great. there is much more to tell you about. stay with us. we'll be right back.
