for anyone who goes 38 miles an hour or fastener a 25-mile per hour school zone. they're not trying to surprise anyone with this, they have signs on the road and you can go to their website to find out where this van and its twin will be on a daily basis. this is about changing driver behavior in zones where children walk. >> we don't want the bayer to change overnight, we hope that over time people will start to think to themselves, there are cameras in the school zones, we better slow down. >> reporter: they did a year's worth of traffic surveys and found that in many school zones, people were flying through. even during the trial period, they were averaging about 30 warning tickets a day. this is an attempt by the county to make money, the money raised doesn't exactly go to the county. it goes through the program. >> this is a self-funded program, so the money that's generated from the citations, from the violators actually will go back into the program

ill and has a lengthy criminal record. baltimore county police need your help right now trying to find four men accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year- old girl. the girl told police she was walking around the drive around 3:00 in the afternoon, back on november 1st. the four men drove up along side of her, one started talking to her. pulled out a gun and forced her into the front seat. they then covered her eyes and drove her around. once they stopped, three of the men got out of the car similar this to this one, while the others sexually assaulted her. an hour later, they drove her back. if you have information, call baltimore county police right now. send an e-mail also. get to this continuing coverage tonight of a man accused of scamming people after paving their driveways. tommy, backed out on airplays minute plea deal on a criminal

case he's faces more than that tonight. josie stern is here to explain what the attorney general is doing to crack down on his operation. >> reporter: that's right, the attorney general has issued a cease and deassist order. now this order means he not only has to stop paving until he has a license, he has to pay up. he has refused to give estimates or low-bald his clients on paving services, then crack up the prices by thousands of dollars charges some as much as 30 grand on the job. he can't pave until he gets a license. he's going to have to ñp=mqña bond to protect future customers. as for those who have already done business, the office says he has to pay back everyone he worked for had he didn't have a license. at this moment, they think he owes more than $60,000. >> i hope this will stop him from harming consumers, if mr. clark doesn't stop harming

and others will get thousands of dollars to fix the air- conditioning. well as we reported yesterday, special committee has suggested that eight different sports at the university of maryland cut. now there's backlash. as don harrison tells us, the reaction stirred emotions nationally. >> reporter: protecting their house is just what a sports programs at the university of maryland are doing. they're not alone. attention has been coming in from around the nation. on a youtube video entitled save the swimming and dyeing, over 30 different teams and organizations around the nation have shown their support. some of the teams are in direct competition with the swim teams. other national stars like michael florida s and former and current athletes have weighed in on the subject. former head coach of maryland's

maryland alum and former captain of the cheer leading squad, if they would have come up in his day, could have changed the course of don harrison history. it's that time of year, people are reminded to give back, that in mind, here comes the salvation army kicking off his kettle drive. each year, bell ringers stand next to the famed red kettles asking you to drop something into the bucket to to help our families and homeless. millions are donated with a money dropped in the kettles or through the use of special credit card device incase you don't have any change. how about this donation? emily graham was 94 when she died in new jersey. she had no brothers, no sisters, no children, but she did have land that she inherited from her uncle. now that 110 acres has been turned over to harper county, this land is valued at $17 million, and it sits right in the middle of harper county's area. it strike thats route 124.

difference in temperatures behind that frontal system, we're just 38 now, places like chicago, so the first front through, but the main shot of colder air arriving overnight into daybreak, the rain will continue to timeout by 11:00 or twelve o'clock. then, into the day tomorrow, cloudy, little dreary and certainly much, much cooler. we clear our completely thursday night into friday with widespread sunshine, another day tough to get out of 40s. november's going to be making its presence felt here late this week. overnight 44, lingering rain. tomorrow drier, maybe a morning shower, this is a parable clearing today. 47, that's it. much cooler day, tomorrow night down to 31. mostly clear and running brisk. your seven-day forecast, again a much cooler trend near thursday-friday. but there's another bounceback here, we like that. 53 saturday with sun, we'll be back in the low 60s on sunday. so there you go.
