radar. new tonight there is an all out search for a murder suspect who was accidentally released from jail. how does that happen? 24-year-old frederic scott had been locked up accused of shooting a man six months ago. he was being held without bai. according to the pg police department a clerical mistake allowed his release. now a national search is out to find him. >> the individual does have the capacity to flee the area when the actual murder had occurred, he had fled and was located a few months later in las vegas. >> anyone with information on where he may be, call the prince george's county police department at homicide. another goodwill store hit over the weekend. baltimore county police need

your help. police say friday night's cockeysville goodwill store on padonia road was hit. this was the second time the location was robbed along with two other towson locations. the man made several customers and employees go to the office, took money from the registers and safe. if you're -- you think they're related, get in touch with the police department. for years you passed the old amesworth paint plant. it's been an eyesore. now they want to make sure the demolition doesn't bring hidden dangers. a contractor is set to tear it down in january. however, homeowners are worried about health concerns. they want tests done and they're working with community coordinators from johns hopkins. >> we want to know.

baltimore's mayor stephanie rawlings-blake said she will take her raise and donate 2 1/2% cost of living raise to the programs that puts teens in summer jobs. last year she declined. she made more than $155,000 last year and said she is make the donations because have the city's dire financial situation. the city seems to be changing its mind on who should mind the walks. in 2008 the city of annapolis said they will take over responsibility of maintaining city sidewalks. now it's your responsibility top pay $25 a year. when residents got the bill, they complained, so the city removed the bill. the city said budget restraints

may stop them from doing the job all together. there's a real benefit to having the city maintain this. owe can repair -- we can repair it, but the problem is, the city does not have a dedicated revenue stream. >> the city will hold a public hearing next monday, the 28th at city hall. it is fearchlt the university of maryland will cut eight athletic programs to eliminate a budget shortfall. the programs being cut, men's and women's diving teams, men's tennis along with women's acrobatics and tumbling and the water polo teams. the president made the decision saying it was difficult. the programs will be cut officially at the end of june of next year.
