five days we'll have three more of them in the defense center. police are have arrested a manner they say killed a man outside a restaurant in glen burney. the man was found after walking into the baltimore county detention center. cornelius johnson arrived on friday to save week-long sentence on an unreceipted charge, and police discovered there was a first-degree murder out for his arrest. it is believed he hot and killed andrew johnson earlier this month. no word if the two are related. what a day on the shore. queen ann's county, you are safer toronto, and we have pictures to prove it. somebody set on camera that deer hunters use so when there's movement, the camera snaps. but instead of a deer, a suspect wabreaking into cars. so this going on facebook, and don harry son was right in the

middle of the action today when the call came in that police play a suspect. >> we really depend on the public's input the public to tell us or assist us with investigations, identifying suspects, and all of that. so it's really important, and we do appreciate the public's help in helping us with this. seems like we have the whole county working for the sheriff's office helping us keep the community safer. >> so i they plan to charge jason grimes with resisting arrest. she already wanted on several warrants in another county. several kids swarm into a 7- eleven and rob the place. we're talking 50 to 70 kids as you just saw on video. >> it ads a new dimension to the phrase it's 11:00, do you know where your children officer well, if they're on this tape, they're in big trouble. montgomery county police say this started at around 11:18 in

a 7-eleven, and police say anyone from 50 to 70 kids swarmed into the silver spring store, and some of them blatantly stealing right before several surveillance cameras. they have received dozens of calls from people who recognize or have is information about the incident. at this point, they say they have to sort out exactly who broke the law here. >> what makes these situations a little different is in this one, it's a little unique, in that you do have approximately 50 teens coming into the store. but as you look at the video, you do have some teens that are just standing around. you some young adults that are paying for the items, so certainly that makes it more committed for the detectives, because although they can identify these young adults coming into the 7-eleven store, they also have to determine what those teens did once they entered that store. >> police aren't calling this a flash mob exactly. they say they think most of these kids were at a birthday

party not too far away, and that social media was not used to coordinate things like a similar robbery back in august. if you have any information, call montgomery county police at the number on your screen. hey, you might be going to school on saturday. where? baltimore city. but before you start thinks this is some sort of punishment, this is only for some who want to learn even more. the so-called take 10 program will allow fourth-graders through those in 8th grade to brush up on their math skills while also having fun. it will run from december to march and help students learn 10 new math skills of the span of 10 weeks. the take 10 is is free of charge. 60 schools will offer this, along with other locations scattered throughout baltimore city. weather-wise, man, as the mess out there. tough travels tonight for the evening commute. the entire built way, i-95 west

you can also go to abc2news.com/weather. could we have picked a worse weather day to open a brand-new road? 11 miles is now open. this section of the intercounty connector runs from georgia avenue just east of 95. the first 7 miles opened back in february. now you have a free ride on the entire 18 miles until december 4th, and then you'll have to start payling. traffic around the area tonight has been grounded to a halt. the reason more of you are hitting the roads earlier than you did last year for thanksgiving. and as you can see from our live cameras around the area, traffic is running a bit slow. we're seeing a lot of brake lights. we have more travelers out there on the roads. >> we are seeing a slight trend change in that more and more people are hitting the roads on tuesday to sort of avoid some of that wednesday travel that we typically see, and we

now. so maybe some of those evening trips out of the surrounding area will be a little less likely to be delayed. but still scenario into the rest of the night and toward daybreak tomorrow, we'll wake up to a very similar look. dark and wet weather. it was tough to see even downtown at times because of all of that wet weather we were dealing with. visibilities rower as you go towards charlottesville, virginia. definitely some fog and mist in the mountains. winds right now turning south in southern maryland, and east, and so a southerly breeze will begin to pump these temperatures on little bit. it will not get dramatically colder. it will push up close to 60 for the overnight hours, more than likely. a good chance for morning

showers, and then these temperatures will drop as the skies clear and the breezes pick up out of the west. take a look across the region now. we are beginning to see the heavier rain we were dealing with all day lift north out of maryland, but the back side of the storm, around 2:00 here, just beginning to cross into west virginia. slow-mover, should begin to arrive here after midnight tonight, and we'll look for heavier rains toward those early morning hours, that band of showers and storms that are now affecting the tennessee area down through alabama and northern georgia, that will come in, and will also push out the mild air, bringing in cooler air time night into thanksgiving day, but i think with the clearing we're going to so a, one is going to mind a drop in temperature of 10 or 15 degrees. this will not be a major blast of cold air. though tomorrow night we'll be back down into the 30s. could there be some delaysny think so. and also mainly just getting to the airport, give yourself some

extra time, because of the commute and all of the travelers hitting the road early. this entire line should begin to clear, should clear the eastern shore by noon. beautiful sunshine on tap for thanksgiving day, and it will set the stage for great football game thursday night. your two-degree guarantee tomorrow will be 62 with rain. and we check the outlook, and the bottom line is we have good weather on tap friday and saturday right into the weekend there. so just have to get through tonight and the morning. bob seger is coming to town on friday night. and you know who else is coming to town? country superstar brad paisley. he'll play the first mariner arena. he'll be joined by the band perry, which just won three cma awards, along with american idol winner scotty mcyeary.
