there. people who live on the two outer sides can return to homes. we got a tour inside, the project manager showed us where the fire started on the fourth floor, it knocked down everything inside the condo and the roof is gone. the center part has the most damage it could take months to repair 15 units. main services like heat, electric and water are running again in the outer parts of the building. people are elderly. everyone got out okay. noel one was hurt. -- no one was hurt. >> i was getting ready to get in to the shower and go to bed. i had to get dressed and get out of the building. >> no word on what caused the fire. inspectors should be out there today. people who live on the two outer sides of the building can return. linda so, abc2 news. news around the nation this morning, a new york grandmother wants an apology from the transportation security administration or sitly the

southern california basing for powerful winds, gusts of 60 miles per hour. destructive winds left thousands in the dark, without heat. many waiting to be restored among the 42,000 people. kuren redmond is standing by with the latest from the west coast. 370,000 customers in southern california were without power, weather reports predict, traditional winds will move in. high winds starting in and out the mountains and canyons, spreading to the coastal areas. 300 los angeles firefighters had been deployed in the fire prone areas because of the winds are expected to create critical conditions that can pose extreme wild fire danger for the area. winds gusts reaching 70 miles per hour expected.
