survived and what he has to say about the video now. >> customers have amazing survival tales after one restaurant becomes a drive through. >> this is one thing that you don't want to find tangled in your tinsel. >> find out what was lurking behind the branchs. and if aqua man and iron man had a baby it would be this contraption. >> i got have one. >> we begin today's show with a story that steven found for us. >> the video is a few years old but it's just coming out now. a guy and two friends were avid sky divers. there were a number of jumps between the men who were sky diving this particular day. tim decided i'm going to bring my video camera along because,

why not? there is a collision at about 2500 feet. as these guys are going down their parachutes intertwine. his friend is able to cut away and use his reserve chute but tim's reserve chute got tangled up in the mess above him. when tim hits the ground he breaks his pelvis, back, and neck. >> can you feel your feet? >> no. >> can you feel your fingers? >> i can feel them. >> tim says in the video, rescue breathing is performed, paramedics arrive and i am air lifted to a hospital where i awake and days later begin life

as a quadriplegic. it has taken tim four and a half years to be able to watch youtube. people are thinking this is a hoax. not real. >> because he survived it? >> i think some people do have questions. >> i would say it is survivable. >> it is not the first time we have seen someone survive a failed sky dive. >> one of your favorite restaurants you go to and you think it would be great if i could go through a drive through. near san diego, a couple patrons exiting this small restaurant and this car made its own drive through. scattering glass and tables everywhere. kgtv did talk to some of the witnesses. >> i was sitting at the

restaurant. i heard broken glass. >> this is a better angle. >> oh my goodness. they got hit and they flew to the corner of the restaurant. >> the first thing we saw was the lady running around. there was blood running down her leg. >> the two people you saw here? minor cuts and bruises. police think the driver hit their gas instead of the brake. >> was it an elderly driver? >> no. and drugs and alcohol were not a factor. just an accident. >> can you imagine what the driver is feeling? >> we all have ex-boyfriends and girlfriends. and i'm pretty sure the relationship didn't end with this happening. oscar says he was at his

exgirlfriend's house. they were discussing something and he decided to walk home. >> i started walking from her house to my house. she got a ride over here. she used the gasoline to start the fire. i lost all of my clothes, couch, tv, dvds. >> he lived in this house with his dad and brothers. was anybody home? >> nobody was home. he said his dad and brothers were out of town at a family affair and he had to call them. >> i was talking to them on the home. there is a family gathering right now, but i guess they have to stay there. they can't live here any more. >> are there any details about what the discussion was before he decided to walk home and she found the gasoline? >> according to oscar, she flew

efficie -- deficiency. his immune system doesn't protect him. he has been getting therapy but he still can't do things in large groups and with other kids like normal 3-year-olds. there is a cure and it's a bone marrow transplant. in january, they will travel to duke university. >> his parents beth and lewis are going to have to take a break from their jobs. they will need to be in north carolina the whole time. the financial advisor said it would take $50,000 in order for them to be able to stay there in north carolina to make sure that lucas had the treatments they needed. they reached out to a charity to help raise money for the transplant so that the family could stay for six months.

they set up an account and website so that people could donate. we have the parents via skype to talk with us about what they have been through. >> we were able to raise most of it within 12 hours. we reached our final goal on friday. >> is that just unbelievable to you when you think about how quickly people were so willing to reach out to your little boy? >> we are totally moved and humbled. >> i am in a state of disbelief but feeling so incredibly thankful. >> has lucas talked about what he wants to do after the surgery? >> he said ride his biscycle an play. >> a bunch of rich guys wind up like this. >> some are saying $4 million

area. >> rangers target the subjects lower center of mass. it appears that the ranger targeted correctly. she was arrested for public intoxication. we have brooke via skype right this minute. >> tell me what happened when you were first approached? >> the ranger pulled up and said what's going on? i said well the girls are taking pictures and i'm drinking beer. they asked me for my driver's license. when i gave all the information, he looked at me and said you used to be a boy. the girls went back to taking the pictures. and the agent sat in his truck for up to about an hour and 15 minutes. i walked up to him and said you need to mosey around.
