why not? there is a collision at about 2500 feet. as these guys are going down their parachutes intertwine. his friend is able to cut away and use his reserve chute but tim's reserve chute got tangled up in the mess above him. when tim hits the ground he breaks his pelvis, back, and neck. >> can you feel your feet? >> no. >> can you feel your fingers? >> i can feel them. >> tim says in the video, rescue breathing is performed, paramedics arrive and i am air lifted to a hospital where i awake and days later begin life

efficie -- deficiency. his immune system doesn't protect him. he has been getting therapy but he still can't do things in large groups and with other kids like normal 3-year-olds. there is a cure and it's a bone marrow transplant. in january, they will travel to duke university. >> his parents beth and lewis are going to have to take a break from their jobs. they will need to be in north carolina the whole time. the financial advisor said it would take $50,000 in order for them to be able to stay there in north carolina to make sure that lucas had the treatments they needed. they reached out to a charity to help raise money for the transplant so that the family could stay for six months.
