thanks, new changes are coming to the code blue system in baltimore. officials are lowering the temperature to a windchill of 13 degrees, down from 20. this means the city is only going to offer additional services to the homeless when the windchill gets down to 13. the reason for this change, one to ensure warnings about cold temperatures are heated and two according to a baltimore sun report this will bring baltimore in line with other cities. top stories, friends and family of a 16-year-old baltimore county girl who was hit and killed are mourning her loss today. bridget harold was crossing the street at the intersection of annapolis road and ohio avenue in the land down baltimore hilands area before 5:00, when she was hit by an sufficient. the cause is still under investigation. the driver stayed at the scene. the gunman who killed a virginia tech police officer and took his own life was not a student at the university according to the school. now police are trying to figure out why the shooting happened in the first place, authorities are looking to finds connection

chilling video of an attempted rape is released to the public in an effort to catch the suspect. this happened this month in queens, the startling video shows a man walking up behind a woman, placing a sharp object in her back. he pulls the woman behind a building, but she fights and is able to get away. new york police believe the suspect is responsible for at least two other rapes. we want you to look at these photos, a school bus flipped over in birmingham

us. we will stay dry. our moisture is going to be coming in the form of cloud cover as we go through the evening as the cold front gets closer, i will show you that in a second. look towards the west, you will have to get the snow, north western pennsylvania in to ohio, to do that. now, the cold front i'm talking about, here it is here. this is going to traverse the area as we go through the rest of the evening. the only type of moisture is cloud cover and then by tomorrow, high pressure is going to be building in behind that and the cold air filtering in as well. we will feel it. those temperatures are coming up. future trend, not picking up on a lot as we put this in to motion. we will see plenty of sunshine as we go in to saturday. clear skies, lingering in to sunday. clear skies for the nighttime. that's when the temperatures can drop like a rock. we will be not in the 20s this evening due to the fact we will have clouds around 33.
