floors. an investigation into the death of a student at florida a&m, led to fraud. letters were sent to the head of the board and the state of the university system. the fdle spokesman said it will would be handled separately from robert cham pan's death. he died november 19th. police believe hazing was the blame. here's a smash and grab like you've never soon. while driving in reverse, the suspect slams through the door and goes on a shopping spree. on his way out, he gets stuck. the suspect finally gets his wheels free, makes off with less than $1,000 in clothes but damage to the store was about $80,000. the suspect was later caught. this is why it's important to keep your eyes on the road.

the holidays are full of excitement but decorations can provide their share of hazards for adults and small children. karin caifa has some tips to keep our families safe. >> reporter: this shows how hazardous holiday decorations can b a tree with -- become, a tree with dried brann muchs or an electrical fire. it turned holiday tragedy in less than 40 seconds.

>> candles, christmas tree lights, dried out christmas trees that cause fires and decorations. >> reporter: while adults need to stay mindful of the major holiday hazards, the little things shouldn't be overlooked. >> be careful when you purchase decorations for your tree or other places in the house. make sure they don't look like food or candy because young kids will put them in their mouth. >> reporter: child safety organizations also advise keeping kids away from burning candles that can be tipped over. >> if you're using a real candle, keep it three feet away. an alternative is using one of the electric candles that don't have a real flame. >> extinguish any candle before going to bed and leave -- unplug

no wind. what little breeze we do have, a southerly breeze. that helps to hold temperatures up. highs about six, seven degrees above average. 50 in pape pea. 52 cambridge and georgetown delaware. tomorrow neighborhood by neighborhood we're well into the 50s. 56 for little italy and 56 for federal hill. we have weather north of york into harrisburg, pennsylvania. we still have high pressure over the carolinas and maryland is enough in this area of high pressure that most of the showers mr. skirt to our north. could a few sneak across the state line, northern baltimore, northern harford county, you could see a patch or two of rain. most of it is skirting around our high pressure dome. off to the west there is milder air and more wet weather coming in with that boundary which will arrive late tomorrow evening.

our best chance for rain coming late tomorrow evening. let's break down the timing as we take a look at our in-house computer model. as we go into the afternoon here's where we begin to see the chances for rain. they intense foye a little bit. this model may be underdoing it. we may see more widespread rain. then it looks like all of this may push south. it looks like at this point in time that boundary will stall out well south of us keeping us dry. places like virginia beach and nags head, north carolina will be went. cloudy skies, not as cold but still on the chilly side. tomorrow 56 will be the two-degree guarantee. we'll have scattered showers lingering into tomorrow evening. maybe give yourself a little extra time to get to dinner.
