asleep and awakened by a man wearing a mask and holding a gun. >> to quit thinking woman managed to get out of the house and iran and called 911. what happened after that is now in question. >> what we do know is that at some point, one of our officers shot a man that was in the home. he was taken to bayview with non-life-threatening injuries or injuries that appeared to be non-life threatening. the suspect, a 27-year-old man was told by the officer to drop his semi-automatic weapon. he refused and turned toward the officer who turned his gun on the man who was struck several times. >> it is standard procedure any time there is an officer involved shooting to have an internal review to make sure that all policies and procedures were followed and the use of force was justified.

>> we're told a second victim was inside the home at the time of the robbery. it is not yet known if there is any connection between the suspect and victim. more on this story coming up at 6:00. live in towns and, -- in towson, wbal-tv 11 news. >> police said they had their hands full this weekend. there are investigating six shootings, three deadly. they addressed the media this afternoon at their headquarters downtown. they have announced that they have had no suspect in any of the homicide investigations. the first shooting happened on that friday night in southwest baltimore. the next coming 24 hours later on at bellaire in northeastern baltimore city. sometime saturday night into sunday, an unknown gunman opened up fired in west baltimore killing 27-year-old barnes. this is an uptick in crime, but

times and would get on the phone crying and frustrated. she went to the school several times and one time found him under the desk. he said the children were making fun of him. she testified at other times he had marks on his face, back, and puncture wounds on his knee. >> the schools have to take a very assertive actions immediately to let the people know that there will not tolerate bullying. >> the psychologist testified on behalf of the family thinking he should have received specialized placement and he suffered depression and was i to aggressively. they're questioning the credibility of the sullivans' story climbing in interviews the boy reported that his father beat him and was trying to kill him. dr horton considers that an exaggeration by a young child. >> kids exaggerate when parents are being normal disciplinarians. if there was physical abuse, i am sure that would be caught very quickly.

>> johns hopkins has named the new leader for their hospital. paul rothman will oversee all of the facilities. he is currently dean of the carper college of medicine at the university of iowa. the column a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the challenges facing health-care and academic medicine. he will join johns hopkins july 1st succeeding edward miller who will retire after 15 years as both dean and the first ceo of johns hopkins medicine. the next two quarters of the fbi could be here in maryland. -- the next headquarters of the fbi. they're looking to move to a central location. for the past 37 years, it has been based at the j. edgar hoover building but they're looking to move because of a number of problems.

we look around the country. rainshowers possible in new york with a high near 46. 38 in chicago. mix of rain and snow in the plains states. 51 in dallas. the only trouble spot west of there will be seattle. denver is going to pick up five or 6 inches of snow tonight, but during the day tomorrow, dry in the northern plains. los angeles has 65 for a high temperature. florida looks good. around 80 in tampa and most of the state will be dry. looking at the travel forecast every night for the rest of the week going into the christmas weekend. good chance for rain on wednesday, mild with a high near 55. winter starts thursday morning at 12:30 pm high near 46. friday, a chance for a chilly rain showers. still possible that we may end
