snow and i know there's a lot of excitement and the best kind of snow because it didn't stick on the pavement. some places got that snow to stick and get that. you can see it filling up manchester high while we were watching the snow and look at the fields off winters mill and not much stickage in that location. snow and some of that light coating of white nighs. southern p.a. and this morning's temperatures range from a mild 36 in man chest erin it's 20s from bel air to towson and woodbine and 34 annapolis by the bay. we have had clear skies and another band of clouds whirling in and we could wind up with a pretty sunrise. it's more clouds where this came from and the next weather system spurring up warmer temperatures. and if anything, it's rain pushing into ohio right now. and we could watch maybe some rain drops in the west side later today. we will push 48 by lunchtime warming to 52 this afternoon and again this evening, overnight, some light rain showers and we are staying mild through new year's day and the big cool down we will talk about in a bit. 6:30 with angela talking about

traffic. >> reporter: all right. on the roads right now a nice ride for most of you out there. especially getting through the city. on 895 and 95, both are good to go as you approach the tunnels and the toll plazas. we have still look pretty good for those of you traveling in howard county. northbound on 29 making are way to i-70. and once you get toi.-70 it's clear all the way to 695. here's a live look at i-95. as you can see, we are still slobbing pretty -- be looking pretty good on 95 in the white marsh area as with most of the major roadways. following a story about a 4th grader who reportedly created a kill list targeting fellow students. it took place at deal elementary school in anne arundel county about half an hour south of annapolis. corinne redman is standing by with more on the developing story. >> reporter: well, many parents say they received a startling phone call on tuesday from school administrators at deal elementary school saying their children's name were on a hit listen titled kill list. the 4th grade here made the

list erased the title and changed it to people mean to me. the list included 35 classmatesat deal and celebrity names like justin bieber. only parents of the students on the list were notified by the school. but some parents say that was not enough as school officials should have notified everyone. girl's troupe leader says she is good and loves to learn but has been bullied at times and some parents think the child should be removed from school. and others are offering support. >> this child told my boy she had a killing list and that they were on it. >> the first instinct is to attack and i don't think that is the right thing to do. >> i wish they would a have notified everyone because i know a lot of parents weren't happy finding out from the newspaper. >> now the school has suspend the student and there's no word on if any further action will be taken. corinne redman, abc2 news. news around the nation, a sink hole caused a broken water main and forced many people out of their homes in pennsylvania.

homeowners in allentown woke up with the basements to find them full of water. the emergency crews discovered a sink hole across the street estimated 10 feet deep. area was evacuated and blocked off while crews went in to turn things off they heard some of the houses beginning to shift. a daring rescue in los angeles. firefighters say a hiker and his dog slid 150 feet off a trail. rescuers propelled down the side of a hill and hooked the man into a harness. the dog was strapped in by another rescuer. both lifted to safety. dog and hiker are reportedly doing well this morning. a man is free from the burning car by police and then arrested and after. that is look at the flames that took place in grand rapids michigan. allen blake accidentally rested his foot on the gas pedal while drunk and passed out. the engine raced and caught fire. after the rescue he was arrested and is charged with operating under the influence. and a visitor at los angeles zoo hopped a fence while other barriers to get

justin berk. >> look at the cams i will show you in a couple minute how beautiful the sunrise is beginning to shape up in annapolis and many of us will have a pretty sunrise. 32 in easton and 23 flip the numbers around in york, p.a. and back into the 30s into mountains as warm air comes that. few bands of clouds that may have struck your sunrise view back to the west but we expect more clouds out of this system turning mostly rain through the northern well the western great lakes and on into the northern midwest states. we are expecting clouds to increase and although we will be near 30, sunrise clouding skies this afternoon will bring milder temperatures up to 52. let's get a look at that traffic once again here's angela. >> reporter: on the roads especially in we69 minister -- westminster getting reports of icy spots. be prepared heading out this morning. otherwise we are very light in volume for the most part getting another live look at traffic flow on i-9 5. still a good ride from the jessup columbia area northbound to 695. and traveling on the beltway here's 659 at wilkins avenue.

-- 695 at wilkins avenue. the drive from pikesville around through catonsville to 9h i-95. back to you. local doctors have been charged with murder for performing late term abortions. doctors worked worked as offices throughout maryland. linda so is standing by with details. >> reporter: details are outlined in the charging documents. police say the doctors performed abortion on women almost full term. stephen bringham and nicolea riley are charged with murder because of what police are calling botched abortions. a third doctor george shepherd has been implicated in the case. his license has been suspended. according to the documents, the late term abortion were performed at facility in elkton cecil county. the office is called american women's services and locate on east high street. when police search the place last august they found a chest in the freezer containing 35 late term fetuses. they found logs of other late

disappearance for a month. now the bill would make it a felony not to report a child's death within two hours. missing children under 13 would have been reported within 24 hours. children older than 13 need to be reported within 48 hours. a man accused of murderrering a the-year-old girl he was -- murdering a 9- year-old girl he was baby- sitting will be in court. mike plumadore is charged with the murder. the girl attended school in hagerstown. the school is offering counselor for students who may have known her. 1978 is the last time we sniffed the idea of a murder rate below 200 in baltimore city. we are in 2011 and the city has a very good chance of marking the 33 year low again in homicides. abc2 news corinne redman is here with new reaction from the man who leads the police department. >> reporter: well, it was a sound bite we stared to hear bad guys with guns. the commissioner made that the

yesterday building through the north. there's snow across the upstate of new york and the next system producing snow in -- i am sorry rain in ohio. the snow is back towards wisconsin and minnesota and that will swirl there. that's going to help lift the jet stream up to the north. what happened in the mild weather if anything does fall out of the clouds it would be rain drops but we should go from partly cloudy to overcast. and it will be a warmer day. in fact holding the temperatures up overnight so if anything fall overnight or tomorrow morning they would be rain drops and leading through the day tomorrow we should see at least a disburgs of the cloud and heading into new year's day itself, we are in pretty good shape. heading outside for the well the drop of the ball in new york or for any sort of fireworks around town new year's should be fine around here. as fine as they can be this time of the year. weather wise. 52 today. and clouds moving back in tonight and maybe a sprinkle towards daybreak and we are back to 40. here's weekend outlook and we should be mostly dry. we are expecting the afternoon temperatures in the 50s and 55
