students returned to school in parts of baltimore county but some were put on hold by a major water main break. we have more on what happened in the 2300 block of research avenue and who was affected by it. >> reporter: a three foot wide pipe broke shutting schools to shut down as a precaution. >> 9-year-old ryan can't find a receiver. since classes were put on hold by a water main break a few blocks away. it's the same story for students in seven other schools, including brittany thompson's school. >> this happened so many times. i remember last year when it happened and the year before that. we keep getting out of school for it. they need to fix it.

he was upgreated -- upgraded from critical condition. it happened sunday night in the 500 block of oakland avenue. the boy was shot several times in the hand, arms and torso. police still have no suspects. the man convicted in two states has pleelded to -- pleaded to raping a woman. he took a plea deal today. his sentence for first degree raped as 50 years to the 35 he's solving for a second-degree rape and sex offense in montgomery go. the most recent case found him hiding in a vehicle. he bound her hands and covered her eyes with duct tape, the material used in most of the attacks. police in annapolis are trying to find a man who exposed himself in the 1700 block of forest drive yesterday morning. police say the suspect pulled

dillards. you can call 888-847-8969. well, looks like scammers are using the name of a popular airline as they try to scam victims. they're trying to get you to hand over your personal information. >> reporter: american airlines is warning people about the scam. the airline said it's been aware of these kind of scams for more than a month and are warning people. they posted sample emails including the latest one which asks you to download a ticket you purchased. that one started circulating in know. american airlines said not to click on it. there are phishing emails. you put it in a bogus web link and they don't send emails to
