>> a little girl survives an attack by a wild kangaroo. >> i thought i was going to die. >> i don't think that this is how a crane is supposed to work. just ask the guys trapped inside. >> all of a sudden -- [ inaudible ]. >> and just in time for the super bowl. >> it's a press-on tattoo for your pizza. >> what? >> it's time to get today's show started and nick has our first story for us. >> tv news helicopters usually get to the scene afterwards, usually get the aftermath. sky news 6 in oklahoma got there as the act was happening. what you're seeing is a guy running away from what appears to be the scene of an arson fire. you see this guy, he's dressed in camo, carrying a gun. meets up with a couple other guys in a white pick-up truck. the helicopter pilot sees smoke in the area from a couple of different spots.

so the pilot calls in to 911 and says, hey, you know, do you have any controlled burns going on right now and they say no. >> do you have controlled burn at 43 and 409? >> i do not. >> the pilot follows this pick-up truck, gets on the line with police and says, you may want to track down these guys because i think they may be setting fires in the area. >> wow. >> the rodgers county sheriff's office did catch up with this white pick-up. >> when they make contact with the people inside they were informed that they had started the fire on one of the occupants grandparents' land. >> even if this is your grandparents property, you were trying do burnoff, you don't leave fires. >> could we potentially see arrests from this fire? >> the ser hif's office is investigating the cause of the fires but say it's suspicious. the driver 20-year-old george major taken into custody for transporting a loaded firearm and suspended license.

>> there is no telling where it would be, how much acreage would be on fire. what amazing, exciting event can possibly cause a line like this? ♪ >> mcdonald's opening in russia in the '80s. >> the new air jordans. >> they opened the first starbucks? >> gas? >> beth looked at my notes. >> i didn't, i swear. >> she glanced over and saw my notes. this is in islamabad, pakistan. they are in line for fuel, for their car. >> you would waste all of your fuel waiting in line to get fuel. >> you wouldn't sit there with the car running. >> these drivers are waiting four to five hours to get fuel at this one gas station. >> what's causing the backup? >> the reason that this is happening is because there is a natural gas shortage in pakistan and so the government is being very selective and discriminatory in terms of who they provide this gas to. >> natural gas? >> these are natural gas

vehicles. in fact, in pakistan, there are 2.7 million natural gas vehicles. >> wow. >> really? so it's not the gasoline that we know. it's natural gas and there's a natural gas shortage and that's what these cars run on. >> that is correct. this shortage has caused a lot of protests. even the station owners are protesting themselves saying hey, we can't keep up with the long hours that we have to stay open to provide gas for these drivers. >> could you imagine the outrage in the united states if they started telling people where and when they could get gas. >> ride your bike to work day. the state of georgia has the second highest rate of childhood obesity in the country. so, a group put together a psa campaign that some think is a little bit controversial because of their direct message. >> mom, why am i fat?

>> childhood obesity rates are rampant in america, but children's health care of georgia decided to do something about it with the direct messages. >> i don't like going to school because all the other kids pick on me. it hurts my feelings. >> "right this minute" via skype we have linda with the children's health care of georgia with a strong for life campaign. this message is very direct. >> children's health care of atlanta felt like we needed to take a stand and do something about this. in our state and be a role model for other states. 75% of the parents that we interviewed that have an overweight kid, did not see it as a problem. and they gave excuses such as -- >> it runs in our family. >> as her mom i never noticed her eating any different than the rest of us. she likes junk food.

what kid doesn't? >> we felt because there were so many excuses and parents really couldn't just see the problem, that we needed something that was very abrupt and arresting. >> what kind of response have you gotten since these ads hit the air waevs? >> our market research toldf pae ad, thought it was the right conversation. only 15% of those interviewed said i just really did not like those ads. >> my doctor says i have something called hypertension. i'm really scared. steven, the uk experienced one of the worst storms they've seen in a while this week. this is footage of the large sea front. this is in scotland. look at this angry sea. >> that's scary into the guy shooting the video is inside of his car, but he does have the window rolled down and watch what happens. >> oh! >> you see the wave come in and crash against the railing and

the spray comes through the window. >> this storm packed a pretty heavy punch. winds up to 100 miles per hour. here's images from "the mirror" in the uk. toppled tree, shut down roads, caused a great deal of damage. look at these pictures of the boats in the sea. i can't believe people are on these ferries. >> section of a home was destroyed by winds and rain. that is nuts. >> people have been injured. one death has been reported from this storm. like i said, one of the craziest storms to hit the uk in a while. >> i'm glad people take these videos, but i know that i never would. i would be inside like under a blanket. if this is happening. >> under a blanket would be a good place? >> yeah. you stay dry under there. >> waterproof blanket. >> waterproof blanket, yeah. i'll never understand what is it about a camera out in the street that makes people act like fools. they see a camera, they try to get in the way. happens here. it even happens in pakistan like city 42 news. had a little broadcast recently. the anchor here you see, she

getting a drink in a bar around these giant groups of girls. >> the huge groups of girls can take a place over all by themselves, am i right? >> they have terrible priorities and habits and think they own the place as soon as they walk in and we wanted to express that through a monster beat. >> i would think single guys would love a huge group of girls? >> kind of pull you in like the death star. taking the millennium falcon and tear you apart. you can't get anywhere. it's like a self-perpetuating protective shield they have. >> front girl role call, becky, the drunkest one. teresa, someone's cussen. >> why is there always somebody's cousin who doesn't seem to be that -- all that much fun in one of these groups? >> it's almost like to balance the group out. you need a caboose to every train. >> some advice for guys out there, what to do when they encounter a huge group of girls? >> first of all, you have to let them pass. you know, don't try to stand in

clutches of a wild kangaroo. >> a new year's celebration blows up. in a bad way. >> looks like the grand finale is happening on the ground. >> yeah. oh the internet. sometimes i just want to say thanks to it. >> for giving us the guy who tries to beat a ceiling fan. and next time you go camping, you might want to call comzi. >> i would be afraid he would eat my face off. >> time to kick off the second half of our show. why don't you get us started. >> 7-year-old ma kayla was on vacation with her family and by the end of it, this what is she looked like. you see scratches and lacerations all over her face. she had to be rushed to the hospital because makayla was attacked by a kangaroo. they were on vacation at a popular camp site in australia. she was playing near a mob of kangaroos, that's what they're referred to in groups, and the

kangaroos were eating and all of a sudden one of them jumped on makayla's back, knocked her to the ground, started jumping up and down and started scratching her. you can see the damage the kangaroo caused to makayla. >> i thought i was going to die. >> people have warm, fuzzy feelings about them, but they can be dangerous. >> they believe the kangaroo was a gray can ga ra and a full grown can kill an adult, grow somewhere near 170 pounds and almost five feet tall. these are big, big animals. >> all i could see is gray, gray, gray. >> do you know how they got the kangaroo off of her. >> makayla's stepfather ran down and saw makayla in trouble. he thought the worst. >> all i could see she was laying face down with her shirt ripped. as i turned around, it came back at me and jumped and kick me in the leg. >> the mob of kangaroos were eating so you have to think maybe the kangaroo felt threatened.

>> i'm glad the stepdad came to her rescue. a lot of people are talking about the fact that a body was found near the house of state of queen elizabeth ii. what you're looking at is video which is open to the public. except the private quarters of her majesty the queen. to give people a perspective, it is a 20,000 acre country estate composed of wetlands, farmland, wooded areas where people can walk, public and private areas and this huge house. the woman was found two miles from the house. >> it's a royal mystery. >> it is a royal mystery because since when are bodies found at a royal residence? >> there's got to be a ton of security by looking at this estate. >> this is a woodland estate. that means they have public areas where people in the neighboring villages can walk through parts of the estate that are open to the public and that's where this woman's body was found. >> so it's a good chance that the body has nothing to do with

the house or the queen or anybody who works in the snous. >> but the question i think we have in the states is, how can a body be found on a royal estate and it's because you have this large property with gardens and farmland and livestock and, you know, kennels for dogs that it's entirely possible. >> think about how huge 20,000 acres are. ladies, and steven, this site is probably going to make you a little upset. a minnesota bridal dress shop called priscilla of boston, closed its doors and this what is they did with their inventory. they threw it in the dumpster and as you can see, spray painting them so nobody could take them out of the dumpster, i guess. >> breaks my heart. >> they could have donated it to like a theater company. military brides. >> right. >> citizens of the community saw

this and were outraged. the parent company is david's bridal. now, one woman, she saw this going on and contacted priscilla of boston. she claims that they told her o desfroi the remaining inventory and that it had something to do with the contract with the labels. but, the folks from priscilla of boston released a statement, priscilla of boston has always donated quality bridal gowns to a variety of charitable causes we do not donate unsellable dresses that are damaged, soiled or otherwise in poor condition. we have bessy via skype, a store owner beside priscilla of boston. what was your first reaction when you saw all these spray painted wedding dresses? >> it was really a crime just to see that because just some of these dresses were brand new. i mean, price tags still on them. i mean i saw one at $6,000 was a vera wang. it was just a crime. >> as somebody who works in this industry when you saw what was going on out there, was it a

nightmare to see all this merchandise being ruined? >> it was a shock. i'm glad somebody took a picture of what was going on. to see that was a jaw dropper. i could never imagine spray painting one of my dresses i think the donatinang. i think there were different avenues they could have chosen. >> is there a chance that spray painted wedding dresses will become in style and everybody will wear that for the next wedding? >> i can't imagine unless you're, you know, maybe like a cyndi lauper fan way back in the day or something. i can't imagine a bride would want to walk down the aisles with a spray painted dress. you always want to get the best seat possible when you go see fireworks whether july 4th or new year's eve. getting that seat right up front, isn't always a good idea. to thailand. you see some revelers standing around, waiting for the fireworks to start. it quickly goes wrong. >> oh!

wow. grand finale is happening on the ground. >> yeah. >> wow. >> those people really, really close. they were like right next to it. >> apparently hundreds of bystanders were around on the beach area, miraculously no one was injured in this. >> looks like there are people standing still in the middle of all of it. they didn't run. oh, wow. this is amazing. >> we got really good seats. >> what was supposed to happen they were supposed to shoot up in the air and then do their show. >> no one was hurt. great show, though. >> lucky people, because that could have gone really bad. >> it's been a while since we've seen some good trick shot video. >> yes, it has. but don't worry, we've got a good one coming your way. see the shooter in action and hear how he pulled it off. and there's so many good things about weddings. the food, the fun. >> also the cake. >> yeah. the cake.

talents and here to tell us more about his trick shots is james "right this minute." >> how many trick shots do you have in your arsenal? you were doing quite a few there. one i have seen you can't see thth basket, sittingon t back a make shot. >> a couple are in my arsenal. we were making them up as we went. >> tell me about the trick shots. >> myself and teddy owens, a graduate assistant manager at oklahoma with me, we kind of wanted to do a trick shot video for a long time. as we were doing it i decided on the chance this video did go viral it would be a good opportunity to promote hayden's hope an organization started by espn personality. his son passed away 39 days after being born because they were too far down the tlois get a heart transplant and basically the charity is promoting awareness for pediatric organ donation and thought we would give that a plug. >> people that watch this video what can they do to assist you in the charity?

>> go to hayden's hope.org and make a donation. any type of donation you can make goes to a really good cause. >> have you raised any money thus far? >> because i'm a student athlete i myself can't make money from the video. as of now it's gotten 50,000 views. i've been told there has been an increase in donations. i made a donation myself. >> wow. >> thanks, james. we look forward to trick shot part two. >> we've seen a lot of trick shot videos, but it's really awesome that this is also tied to a pretty incredible charity. >> yeah. i don't think that this is how a crane is supposed to work. >> oh. >> wow. >> yeah. wouldn't be fun to be the operator. >> the cab of the crane is suspended 40 feet in the air and there are three crane operators stuck in the cab. >> oh, no kidding? >> yeah. >> and it was nightfall before rescuers could get to them.
