land over. >> reporter: two other suspects were in on the set up and they are been arrested. county police arrested a man they say attacked another man. he was arrested early new year's morning and charged with first and second degree assault. police say a 27-year-old said he was in an argument with his girlfriend and when the other man got involved punching the victim. pointing a gun and when officers saw him he ran away but they caught him. and also, police and fire departments investigating an early morning fire on new year's day in brooklyn park. the fire did about $150,000 of damage and forced two elderly women and their male caregiver from the home. when firefighters put out the fire they found this. >> firefighters did find some

wind chill. we got bright periods of the day. take a look. western maryland. digging out. and good skiing out there right now. temperatures again statewide at or below freezing, in the to's in hagerstown. again no wind chill factor to deal with. in some respects a little less brutal and again the high temperatures never getting much past freezing if at all. tomorrow we will improve that. a good eight to ten degree warm up with sunshine and a bit of a change in wind direction. pikesville to dundock. we could hit the low, push toward the mid40s from shady side. overall pattern, fairly quiet but a few passing snow showers possible over the next few hours, from there is that cluster of more significant snow into northern virginia and

skirt south of us. behind that disturbance just a cold night on the way and a good warm up tomorrow in to the low 40s. we should get past 50 but talking about the deep freeze and how it's affecting our citrus florida low temperatures below freezing, just north of orlando and tampa. last night 31 jacksonville and teens in the panhandle. that's where we could have seen more significant crop damage for things like strawberries. early clouds, some sun, mildler and tomorrow night cold but not as frigid. the outlook here does continue to warm things up.
