the famous marching 100 band after a november football game. a father and daughter are safe after their plane crashed off of the coast of the bahamas during the weekend. they were flying to haiti saturday. their plane lost pressure and crashed in to the water. coast guards arrived and pulled the duo from the life raft. the two boarded a commercial plane monday, headed to haiti to continue with their mission. arkansas woman says a burglar strapped a an explosive device to her ankle and forced her to rob a bank. betty davis told the worker her husband was held hostage at her home while she collected the cash. the pom squad was called in to remove the devisband was found tied up but unhurt and the vehicle was stolen. parents of an 8-year-old boy who died of cancer could face 8 years in prison.

police need your help this morning finding a suspect who killed an elderly woman and burned her house down. linda so is here with the latest. this has gone from bad to worse. >> reporter: charlie, here is the flier police are passing out in the neighborhood. everyone knew the woman as mrs. mary. 84-year-old mary hines was found stabbed to death inside her burning home on east middle street thursday. the fire may have been set to hide the killing. miswere back out in the neighborhood handing out fliers. mrs. mary was a teacher and principal for 30 years and lived in her house for longer than that. mrs. mayry was living with no gas or electric. this isn't something we say nothing about. somebody needs to pick up a phone and call us. >> $2000 cab reward is offered for information -- cash reward is offered leading to anist.
