>> new video from someone on a bus in los angeles that recorded a county sheriff's deputy striking a mentally ill woman. this was taken i a cell phone camera. the deputy was holding the woman's arm. the male deputy was restraining the other arm and hit her with the elbow. he is being investigated in connection with the incident. police arrested the man at the center of a bizarre bank robbery. >> betty davis was just beginning her monday morning. her husband was around the corner at his favorite coffee shop when police say the 59

year old showed up at the door. >> he sat the bomb on my ankle just before we left. that was the last thing he did. at least to the 73 year old thought it was a bomb and he told her he'd detonate it as he drove her to the bank to with draw $10,000. >> i told the man i was forced to come here i had a bock bomb on my ankle and i was getting out. it turns out the bomb was a fake but no one knew at the time. he also had a shotgun he grabbed from the couple's home. he also knew him from the coffee shop. >> one morning i paid for my coffee when he got up and left. >> on monday dean came home in time to see what was happening to his wife and he said bradley duck taped him to a bar stool.

upper 30s both days this weekend. the warm spot in the state at 40 now. winds from the west, steady at 22, gusting higher and this is going to keep the wind chill pretty brutal through the rest of your friday night. bundle up as you head out there. something that will cut the wind down if you're going to be outside at all and the temperatures running, what feel like 20s and teens now with the wind chill factor. all right. so we know it's cold. tomorrow the winds let up. there will be some sunshine but there will also be clouds mixed in and maybe upper 30s at west. harbor east to federal hill and we're going to carbon copy this into sunday. so of course when you talk about a 1:00 kick off for the ravens you talk about temperatures being colder than the overall daytime high. snow still impacting places like ohio, the great lakes, arctic blast on the entire eastern united states. snows have stayed to the west and north but not the cold air.

our trenches basically, just the mix of sun and clouds tomorrow, less wind but still cold temperatures and into sunday we still see no real warm up, though maybe a little more sunshine late in the afternoon, so maybe we're partly cloudy in the morning and clearing late in the day. overnight tonight, down to 26. it's going to feel like the teens out there with the wind chill factor. tomorrow, 36, partly cloudy and into your forecast overnight tonight we're talking about a frigid one tomorrow night, 22 degrees. making for a cold start sunday for the tailgaters to head out. the afternoon may be 35 or so so we creep above freezing. we warm up monday into tuesday at 52 degrees. but on the whole right now, the weather, the kind of january temperatures that make us want to be a little further south right now. >> thanks, today newt gingrich is using mitt romney's own ad to question the former massachusetts governor's record. we're joined now from washington with this story.
